From January to March, witness turtle hatchlings at Mon Repos Conservation Park (own expense). With return rail travel, select meals, and immersive local experiences included, this package is perfect for those seeking a relaxing coastal getaway with a splash of culture.

Day 1: Brisbane to Bundaberg

Join the Tilt Train in Brisbane and sit back and relax as you travel north to Bundaberg. Arrive in Bundaberg early evening and transfer to your accommodation in the town of Bargara.

Stay the next three nights at Kellys Beach Resort, Bargara.

Day 2: Bargara

Spend today at leisure exploring the beautiful seaside village of Bargara.

Take a walk along the picturesque foreshore or visit the Amandine Lavender farm (own expense). From January to March see the baby turtle hatchlings emerge from their nest at Mon Repos Conservation Park.

Explore the conservation park with a Ranger guide and learn about turtle conservation (own expense).

Day 3: Bundaberg

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax in the tropical surroundings of the resort.

Transfer to the Windmill Café for a delicious lunch by the sea (own expense). After lunch, take a self-guided tour through the iconic Bundaberg Barrel and learn about the history of this family-owned company, the craft of brewing drinks and the locally sourced produce farmed in Bundaberg.

Visit the famous Bundaberg Rum Distillery and tour the interactive museum. After exploring the Bundaberg Rum Museum, join an expert guide and journey deep into the heart of a fully operational distillery.

Day 4: Bundaberg to Brisbane

Transfer to Bundaberg railway station for the Tilt Train journey back to Brisbane.
