Today is yours to fully experience the beauty of Kings Canyon. For those feeling active, you may wish to take on the iconic rim walk, offering breathtaking views over the canyon and surrounding desert. Alternatively, enjoy a more relaxed pace with shorter walks or simply unwind and take in the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and appreciate the raw beauty of the outback.
This morning, depart Kings Canyon and journey through the Red Centre toward Alice Springs, the vibrant hub of Central Australia. Enjoy the changing scenery along the drive before arriving and checking in to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is at leisure: take the opportunity to relax, explore local galleries and shops, or enjoy a meal in town as you reflect on your outback adventure.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your way to Alice Springs Airport, returning your vehicle before your onward flight.
