  • Travel by coach to nearby Aldersbach brewery founded in 1268, where you'll be welcomed by local musicians and taken on a tour of the brewery. Afterwards, enter the festival hall to enjoy locally brewed beer with tastings of some local food, all in the spirit of Oktoberfest, with live music and singing.

  • Visit the magnificent Melk Abbey, one of Austria's most iconic landmarks, perched high above the Danube River. This Benedictine monastery, founded in 1089, is renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture and expansive library. Wander through its grand halls, adorned with intricate frescoes and ornate furnishings, and explore the abbey’s beautifully manicured gardens, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

  • Embrace the elegance of Vienna as you drive around the  Ringstrasse, taking in some of the city’s most famous buildings. On arrival in the centre, a walking tour will provide an insider’s view of sights such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben and  Hofburg  Palace.

  • Enjoy gentle scenic cruise along the Wachau Valley in Austria. Dotted with quaint villages and hilltop castles, UNESCO has recognised Wachau as a world heritage site

  • Head to beautiful Krka National Park to explore its dramatic waterfalls. The most famous is Skradinski Buk, a vast natural pool framed by towering waterfalls on one side and a series of cascades on the other, where the river surges through a maze of tiny islets. Take a walk along wooden jetties and bridges to admire the falls, as well as the unique flora and fauna.

Day 1 - Arrive Budapest, Embark Ship

Welcome to Budapest, the historic Hungarian capital. Once you’ve arrived at the airport, you’ll be transferred to your river ship, docked on the Danube River.

Day 2 - Budapest

Disembark and learn the vibrant history of Budapest as your local guide takes you to a host of impressive sights. Back on board this evening, enjoy a delightful Gala Welcome Dinner while you cruise.

Day 3 - Bratislava

Today, explore Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, on a guided walking tour through the charming Old Town. Stroll its picturesque streets and visit notable landmarks, including St. Martin’s Cathedral, the elegant Primatial Palace and the lively Main Square. You’ll also see Michael’s Gate — the only surviving original entrance of the four that once guarded the city.

Day 4 - Vienna

Embrace the elegance of Vienna as you drive along the Ringstrasse, taking in some of the city’s most iconic buildings. On arrival in the centre, a guided walking tour offers an insider’s view of landmarks such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben and Hofburg Palace. Afterwards, perhaps visit the Naschmarkt to browse its vibrant stalls. This evening, enjoy an optional concert.

Enjoy a Mozart and Strauss Concert in one of Vienna’s palaces or concert venues, followed by an evening drive around the Ringtrasse.

Day 5 - Dürnstein, Melk

Cruise to Dürnstein, a charming town overlooked by the hilltop ruins of the castle where legendary King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in the 12th century. Enjoy a free morning to explore its cobbled streets, historic townhouses and inviting taverns. Perhaps join an optional tour to sample some of the region’s renowned wines. Later, cruise through the picturesque Wachau Valley before docking in Melk for a guided tour of Melk Abbey — an active Benedictine monastery since 1089.

Visit Dürnstein Abbey, where you’ll savour a glass of the local Grüner Veltliner or Riesling produced in the region, as well as delicious brandy. 

Day 6 - Linz

Today, choose to join an optional tour to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic or visit Salzburg. Alternatively, enjoy time at leisure in Linz, with the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Enhance your Journey – Salzburg Sights

Take a trip through the stunning scenery of Austria. Visit Mondsee, where you may recognise the famous Wedding Church from ‘The Sound of Music’. Continue to Salzburg and be guided through the town Mozart called home. Enjoy some free time to explore explore at your leisure before returning to your ship.

Day 7 - Passau

In the beautiful city of Passau, enjoy a guided walking tour, taking in the historic sites as you roam the cobblestone lanes of the Altstadt. You'll then enjoy an Insider Experience.

Insider Experience - Aldersbach Brewery

Travel by coach to nearby Aldersbach brewery founded in 1268, where you'll be welcomed by local musicians and taken on a tour of the brewery. Afterwards, enter the festival hall to enjoy locally brewed beer with tastings of some local food, all in the spirit of Oktoberfest, with live music and singing.

Day 8 - Passau, Disembark Ship, Munich, Dubrovnik

After breakfast, disembark your river ship and transfer to the airport for your onward included flight to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Day 9 - Dubrovnik, Embark Ship

Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Dubrovnik as a group to board your ship, the Princess Eleganza. After settling in, meet your fellow travellers and Cruise Director during a Captain’s Welcome Dinner. 

Day 10 - Dubrovnik, Korcula

Spend the morning exploring Dubrovnik’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town on a guided walk. Begin at the impressive Pile Gate and wander through narrow limestone alleys, passing the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, and the Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries. After returning to your ship for lunch, set sail for Korčula. Here, enjoy a guided tour through its maze of cobblestone streets and elegant squares, lined with palaces once home to the old nobility. While less well-known than Dubrovnik, Korčula offers an equally captivating experience. The evening is at leisure — perfect for dining along the scenic waterfront esplanade.

Day 11 - Korčula, Vis, Split

Cruise to the Croatian island of Vis, where you'll disembark to explore its remote, untouched beauty on a scenic drive around the island. Then, sail to Split, one of the Adriatic’s most vibrant port cities. Join your guide for a walking tour of Diocletian’s Palace, built by the Roman Emperor for his retirement in AD 305. The palace’s Old Town is enclosed within its walls, making it the only Roman palace still continuously inhabited since ancient times. Your ship remains docked overnight, giving you the opportunity to explore Split at your leisure after dinner onboard.

Day 12 - Split, Šibenik, Krka National Park

Set sail for Šibenik, stopping for a swim along the way. Šibenik is known as the gateway to the magical Krka National Park, and today you will explore its many natural wonders. Your ship remains in port overnight here in Šibenik, so you can enjoy the flexibility to choose between having dinner on board or heading into town to a local restaurant.

Insider Experience – Krka National Park

At Krka National Park, you will spend the afternoon at the dramatic waterfalls this area is famous for. Wander along wooden boardwalks and bridges at Skradinski Buk, an azure natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and serene cascades at the other.

Day 13 - Šibenik, Zadar

This morning, take a walk through the remarkably well-preserved white-walled Šibenik Old Town with your guides Return to your ship and set sail for Zadar, an ancient port city that at one stage rivalled Venice as the most influential city on the Adriatic coast. Arrive in the early evening and join a guided tour of this historic city. Enjoy dinner ashore tonight as your ship stays moored close to an array of charming restaurants and bars, rubbing shoulders with the local anglers that today hauled in the fresh seafood you may well dine on this evening.

Day 14 - Zadar, Rab

Wake this morning and enjoy a relaxing day sailing to the island of Rab. This afternoon you are free to wander the white-walled harbour foreshore. Later, perhaps enjoy dinner at a local restaurant overlooking the vibrant port marina.

Day 15 - Rab, Krk, Opatija

This morning anchor at the island of Krk, where you can take a refreshing swim in the inviting Adriatic. Cruise to Opatija, where you’ll enjoy your afternoon at leisure. Join your new-found friends for a special Captain’s Farewell Dinner this evening aboard your ship.

Day 16 - Opatija, Disembark Ship, Depart Zagreb

Disembark your ship and transfer by coach to Zagreb airport for your onward flight.
