Day 1 - Dobrý den Prague

Welcome to Prague, where your Experience Director and Experience Manager will be waiting to greet you. With the afternoon free, you can dive straight into the magic of the ‘Golden City’ - whether that’s wandering its cobbled streets, soaking up the cafe culture or simply admiring the skyline.

Day 2 - Explore the Golden City

This morning, step inside Prague Castle with your Local Specialist, visiting St. Vitus Cathedral and the charming Golden Lane. Walk through the Old Town and watch the Astronomical Clock spring to life. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to do as you wish, perhaps visit the Charles Bridge, shop for souvenirs or enjoy a crisp Czech Pilsner!

Admire the fairytale charm of Prague as you explore the city's storied landmarks with your Local Specialist. Step inside the sprawling Prague Castle complex, where centuries of history echo through the vaulted ceilings of St. Vitus Cathedral. Wander the cobbled alleyways of the Golden Lane, once home to alchemists and artisans, then head into the heart of the Old Town. Watch the dance of the famous Astronomical Clock as it strikes the hour, surrounded by pastel hues and Gothic spires that line the historic square.

Day 3 - Embark in Passau

Step aboard the Trafalgar Reverie and make yourself at home as your best river cruise adventure begins. This evening, get to know your fellow travellers over a delicious dinner hosted by your Experience Director.

Day 4 - Stroll through Passau

In Passau, the ‘City of Three Rivers’, where the Inn, Danube and Ilz meet, you can choose between two included experiences according to your preference. Stroll through the old town’s cobbled streets with a Local Specialist or choose a guided hike along the scenic Ilz River. In the afternoon, why not join an optional Bavarian beer, pretzel and music experience? Enjoying local brews, freshly baked pretzels and traditional folk music. Cross into Austria as you begin your Danube River Cruise.

Walk through Passau’s historic streets with a Local Specialist, where medieval lanes lead to grand Baroque architecture. Soak up the city’s unique character before ending at the scenic spot where three rivers meet.

Lace up your hiking boots and set off with a Local Specialist to explore the scenic banks of the Ilz River. Follow a nature trail through woodlands, cross the river by dam and climb to a lookout with sweeping views to experience Bavaria’s natural beauty.

Day 5 - Dock in Linz

Explore Linz with your Local Specialist, strolling through its historic centre and discovering the city’s rich past. Or, if you love medieval charm, choose an optional visit to Český Krumlov, a fairytale town with winding streets and a stunning castle.

Day 6 - Cruise the Wachau Valley

Cruise through the Wachau Valley, a UNESCO-listed gem known for its vineyards and medieval castles. In Spitz, explore the charm of this historic riverside town, famous for their apricots, at your leisure. For lunch, join the Saahs family for a Be My Guest experience at Weingut Nikolaihof, Austria’s oldest winery, where you’ll enjoy homemade specialities made with organic produce straight from their gardens. Continue your cruise through the Wachau Valley, passing by the historic Melk Abbey as your ship navigates overnight into Upper Austria.

Day 7 - Guten Tag Vienna

Welcome to Vienna, the former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Get to know this city with a drive along the Ringstraße and a guided walk through the old town, where Vienna’s grand architecture and imperial history take centre stage. Then choose between two experiences: settle into a traditional coffee house for a slice of Sachertorte, or join a guided visit to St. Stephen’s Cathedral and its catacombs. This afternoon, choose between two Optional Experiences. Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the summer home of the Habsburgs, or take a foodie walking tour, tasting strudels, schnitzels and other Viennese favourites. This evening, perhaps end the day with an optional classical concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart.

In the early morning hours, your ship will pass through the famous Danube Bend. After docking in Budapest, explore both sides of the city (historic Buda and lively Pest) with your Local Specialist. Visit Heroes' Square before heading up Castle Hill past Matthias Church to step inside Fisherman’s Bastion for views over the Danube and Parliament.
