In the afternoon, enjoy time to make your own discoveries. You might choose to head for one of the city’s museums, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with its world-famous art collection or the American Museum of Natural History. Alternatively, you may prefer to take a ferry ride to Liberty Island, home to America’s archetypal monument, the Statue of Liberty, or perhaps enjoy some retail therapy at Macy’s Herald Square, one of the world’s largest department stores.

Spend time at leisure this morning in New York City before continuing to Washington DC. Known for its iconic landmarks, museums and political significance, explore famous monuments and a buzzing cultural scene in the US capital. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Take in the city’s famous sights on a tour, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and FBI Headquarters. The afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure. Today, your journey takes you to Lancaster County, home to the largest and oldest Amish community in the country. During your stay, you’ll have the chance to gain an understanding of their everyday lives. The Amish are known for their traditional, simple lifestyle and still utilise horse-drawn buggies as a key mode of transportation.

Overlook Niagara Falls at dinner before an exclusive visit to the Illumination Tower, where you can project your very own light display onto the Falls. 

This morning, board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). This is the largest of the three falls. You might also like to take an exciting helicopter flight for aerial views over Niagara Falls (own expense). Afterwards, travel to Toronto and enjoy an evening at leisure.
