Embark on an unforgettable, exclusive 15-day journey through the mystical landscapes of Ireland with The Celtic Way Tour. This is not just a tour; it’s a deep dive into the rich Celtic heritage of Ireland, guided by world-class experts in genealogy, Celtic history, and local life.
Arrive in Dublin and check into your accommodation
Explore Dublin's vibrant city centre, visiting landmarks such as Trinity College and the Book of Kells, Temple Bar, and Dublin Castle.
Optional: Visit the Guinness Storehouse or St. Patricks's Cathedral
Travel to Galway, a vibrant city on the west coast of Ireland (215km)
Explore Galway's charming streets, colourful shops and lively atmosphere with a guided tour
Depart for Clifden (85km) known as the "Gateway to Connemara".
Explore Clifden with a guided tour and then venture into Connemara National Park, known for its scenic beauty and trails.
Return to Galway for the night.
Depart from Galway and travel to Kylemore Abbey (80km)
Visit the Abbey, its beautiful gardens and the Gothic church. Continue to Westport (64km) and check into your hotel before exploring Westport's charming town centre
Visit Croagh Patrick, Ireland's holy mountain. Participate in an optional hike or simply admire the views of Clew Bay.
Free time to explore
Spend the remainder of the day exploring Westport, visiting shops, cafes, and enjoying dinner with traditional Irish music.
Depart early from Westport and travel to Killarney (260km).
Visit Muckross House and Gardens, exploring its beautiful grounds and taking a jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park.
Embark on a scenic drive along the famous Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland's most scenic routes.
Stop at viewpoints, beaches and picturesque villages such as Kenmare and Sneem.
Return to Killarney for the night
Depart to Cashel (165km)
Visit the Rock of Cashel
Continue to Kilkenny (120km)
Explore Kilkenny castle and the medieval city centre.
Return to Dublin from Kilkenny (135km)
Free time to explore. Spend the remainder of the day exploring any attractions you may have missed on Day 1.

Morning: Explore Belfast
Afternoon Visit St Anne's Cathedral
History: This Anglican cathedral, completed in 1981 is built on the site of a previous church dating back to 1776. It features beautiful mosaics and stained glass and serves as a testament to Belfast's rich ecclesiastical heritage. You may even catch a choir practice.
Evening: Explore the Cathedral Quarter, known for its vibrant arts scene and historical significance on a super walking tour, and enjoy dinner at a local pub.
Morning drive to Armagh (1 hour)
Start your day at the St Patrick's Centre, where you can learn about St Patrick's legacy. Visit nearby Straull Wells where Patrick is believed to have baptised many into the Christian faith which became a major pilgrimage destination in the middle ages.
Visit Saul Church where St Patrick established his first church and visit his gravesite nearby.
Bangor Abbey (late afternoon)
Head to Bangor Abbey, an ancient monastic site connected to early Christian Ireland.
Stay overnight in Amargh
