Then set sail for the Aegean Sea and a series of stunning Greek islands drenched in history and mythology: these include Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites, sacred Patmos, ‘Island of the Apocalypse’ and an important European pilgrimage site and the Medieval Old Town of Rhodes. You’ll also visit world-famous islands, Santorini and Mykonos, where captivating landscapes and traditional whitewashed architecture blend with cosmopolitan flair and have time to relax on the gorgeous beaches of Kos and Paros. Dipping into the rugged Turkish coastline, stop at Kusadasi, for Ephesus, one of the ancient world's most important cities, Bodrum, for the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World,’ and Antalya, a coastal paradise for nature lovers. Soak up the cultural treasures of Limassol, in Cypress and Haifa, in Israel, before navigating through the historic Suez Canal, a feat of engineering that connects the Mediterranean and Red seas. Arriving in Egypt, ancient wonders and stunning landscapes await, from the astounding Great Pyramids of Giza to the vivid underwater world of resort city, Sharm El-Sheikh. Your wondrous cruise concludes in Aqaba, Jordan, home to more archaeological wonders and gateway to the ancient City of Petra and Wadi Rum, a protected desert wilderness.

Day 1 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Your unforgettable voyage begins in Greece and its ancient capital, Athens. The birthplace of democracy and western civilisation, this enthralling city presents a remarkable blend of rich traditions and modern dynamism. Here, you’ll be transferred to your Emerald luxury yacht to begin an incredible odyssey along the coasts of Greece and Turkey.   

Please book your flight to arrive into Athens prior to 02:00 PM.

Day 2 - Delos, Greece - Mykonos, Greece

This morning, step ashore on Delos, one of Greece’s most significant mythological and archaeological treasures. According to legend, this sacred island was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Wander among remarkably preserved ruins, grand mosaics and ancient temples that paint a vivid picture of classical civilisation. 

Later, sail to glamorous Mykonos, where Cycladic charm meets cosmopolitan flair. Lose yourself in the maze of narrow lanes lined with whitewashed houses and chapels. Discover chic boutiques, waterfront tavernas and the island’s iconic windmills overlooking the Aegean. As evening falls, Mykonos reveals its vibrant energy, offering the ideal blend of tradition and modern sophistication. 

Day 3 - Patmos, Greece

Often referred to as the ‘Island of the Apocalypse’, tranquil Patmos holds deep spiritual significance. In a cave overlooking the sea, Saint?John is believed to have received the visions described in the Book?of?Revelation. Its historic centre, Chora, is a World Heritage Site made up of whitewashed buildings and narrow cobblestone streets lined with traditional Greek tavernas, shops and some 40 chapels. The island has a wild and rugged volcanic landscape that rolls down to deserted pebbled beaches and the sparkling Aegean Sea. Spend time soaking up the beauty, spirituality, and cultural significance of this island.   

Day 4 - Kusadasi, Turkey

Set along Turkey’s western Aegean coast, Kusadasi is a lively Turkish coastal town rich in history and culture. Its strategic location has made it a crossroads of civilisations for thousands of years. From here, you may explore the nearby ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in the Mediterranean. Wander along marble streets lined with grand columns, temples, and the magnificent Library of Celsus. Back in Kusadasi, vibrant bazaars and seaside promenades offer a colourful taste of Turkish hospitality. 

Day 5 - Kos, Greece

Kos welcomes you with glorious landscapes and remarkable historical heritage. Known as the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, the island offers a fascinating journey into the ancient world. Explore the Asklepion, once a renowned healing sanctuary, along with Roman villas, ancient agora and medieval fortifications. The main town is a mishmash of architectural styles, and you’ll find whitewashed dwellings side by side with Muslim mosques, 1930s Italian-style buildings and the medieval Neratzia Castle. Kos also boasts beautiful beaches and relaxed island charm, perfect for leisurely exploration. 

Day 6 - Santorini, Greece

Arriving by sea at Santorini offers a breathtaking first impression, with whitewashed villages perched dramatically atop volcanic cliffs above the Aegean. Stroll through Oia’s narrow lanes, where blue-domed churches and cascading bougainvillea create postcard-worthyscenes at every turn. Relax on distinctive volcanic-sand beaches or sample crisp local wines cultivated in mineral-rich soil. As you sail away, the sun sinks into the Aegean and Santorini’s legendary sunset paints the sky in hues of gold and crimson – a moment to cherish forever. 

Day 7 - Paros, Greece

The paradise island of Paros rose to power and prosperity in the sixth century BC for its high-quality marble, Parian marble, used for the construction of many temples and public buildings. It’s home to ancient ruins, Venetian castles and traditional Greek architecture,and draws in visitors to its stunning beaches, crystal-clear azure waters and charming local villages. The main town, Parikia, is nestled on a hill overlooking the port. Its cobbled lanes are bustling with activity, lined with shops, cafés and restaurants serving delicious local Greek cuisine. It also has a historic Frankish castle built in the 1200s. The island’s other town, Naoussa, is a picturesque harbour wherewooden boats sway and waterside restaurants grill freshly caught seafood. 

Day 8 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece

This morning, enjoy time at leisure as you explore Athens, the ancient capital of Greece. The historic birthplace of democracy and western civilization, this enthralling city offers a remarkable array of architectural wonders and storied Greek heritage, including the iconic Acropolis and Parthenon. You will find yourself charmed by Athen’s modern dynamism and vibrant Greek lifestyle.

In the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed back on board your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht for the second half of your incredible journey, discovering the captivating charms of the Aegean and Middle Eastern regions.

Day 9 - Syros, Greece

Your first port of call is Syros, a charming island located amid the Cyclades group of islands in the sparkling Aegean Sea. Known for its rich history and vibrant culture, Syros is famed for its unique architectural style, which reflects its storied historical development. The contrast between the neoclassical mansions in Ermoúpolis and the Cycladic-style whitewashed houses in other parts of the island creates a distinctive aesthetic.

Day 10 - Bodrum, Turkey

Known for its turquoise waters, lively marinas, and historical depth, Bodrum stands along Turkey’s southwestern coast. Explore the impressive Bodrum?Castle, built by the Knights of?St?John in the 15th?century, now home to the Museum?of?Underwater?Archaeology displaying treasures recovered from ancient shipwrecks. Wander the waterfront promenade lined with cafés and boutiques or delve into local markets buzzing with colour and energy.

Day 11 - Rhodes, Greece

On the lovely Greek island of Rhodes, the Medieval City, or Old Town, is a must-see attraction, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Encircled within four-kilometre (two-mile) length of walls, the city’s medieval buildings, the Street of the Knights and the Palace of the Grand Master, give you a sense of being transported back to the Middle Ages. Known as the ‘Island of Knights,’ delightful Rhodes is also famed for its delicious local dishes; be sure to sample  melekouni (a traditional sweet) and pitaroudia (chickpea fritters).

Day 12 - Antalya, Turkey

Today, you’ll discover the Turkish resort city of Antalya. Nestled between the soaring Taurus Mountains and azure Mediterranean beaches, Antalya makes the perfect paradise for nature lovers. History buffs will also be fascinated by the city’s rich history, revealed in its well-preserved Old Town, Kaleiçi. Here, the Roman-era harbour walls, Hellenistic gates and Ottoman-era houses pay homage to the city's storied past. 

Day 13 - Limassol, Cyprus

Welcome to Cyprus and vibrant Limassol, blending Greek, Turkish, and British influences with lively waterfront promenades. Explore the medieval Limassol Castle (with its Crusader-era Museum), stroll the marina lined with tavernas, or relax on nearby golden beaches. The city's rich cultural tapestry shines through its markets, festivals, and centuries-old wine traditions.

Day 14 - Haifa, Israel

Your next stop is Israel’s third-largest city, Haifa, a bustling port city that offers stunning seaside views and a vibrant urban life. A notable landmark is Mount Carmel, a coastal mountain range that creates an impressive city backdrop. Perched atop Mount Carmel, you'll find the Shrine of the Bab, a majestic golden-domed structure surrounded by the Baha'i Gardens, known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa.

Day 15 - At Sea

Relish this nautical adventure of a lifetime with a relaxing day at sea. Enjoy the luxurious comforts of your contemporary yacht: slide into the inviting infinity-style pool where the azure water blurs with the horizon, ascend to the Sky Deck to drink in the panoramic views and sunset, or simply unwind in the serene Observation Lounge.

Day 16 - Transit through the Suez Canal – Ain Sokhna, Egypt

Today, you’ll navigate through the historic Suez Canal before reaching Egypt and next port of call, Ain Sokhna. Constructed by Ferdinand de Lesseps and completed in 1869, this feat of engineering connects the Mediterranean Sea and Red Sea, carving through 162-kilometres (100-miles).

Day 17 - Ain Sokhna, Egypt

Positioned on the western shores of the Red Sea's Gulf of Suez, Ain Sokhna presents an elegant seaside town. Located two hours from the historic Egyptian capital, Cairo, Ain Sokhna is a base for visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the stupendous ‘Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.’

Day 18 - Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt

On the tip of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula lies the glamorous resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh. Here, the desert meets the sea, creating an environment rich in biodiversity and a melting pot of cultures. Spend your day diving into the colourful world beneath the Red Sea’s shimmering surface, or take a step back in time, strolling through the vibrant souks and Bedouin heritage centers steeped in traditions.

Day 19 - Aqaba, Jordan

A picturesque city located on the southern tip of Jordan overlooking the Red Sea, Aqaba is a history buff’s delight for its rich history that dates back thousands of years. Archaeological sites such as the Aqaba Fort and  Ayla ruins showcase its ancient past. Aqaba also serves as a gateway to the ancient city of Petra and Wadi Rum, known as the ‘Valley of the Moon’ and a UNESCO-protected desert wilderness.

Day 20 - Aqaba, Jordan

Your luxurious cruise and memorable cruise draws to a conclusion on the southern tip of Aqaba, Jordan, a picturesque city with a rich history dating back thousands of years. Aqaba is a history buff’s dream for its esteemed archaeological sites such as the Aqaba Fort and is also the gateway to the ancient city of Petra and incredible Wadi Rum, the ‘Valley of the Moon’ and a UNESCO-protected desert wilderness.

From the yacht, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight home, or to continue your holiday.
