Day 1 - Cairns, Queensland, Australia

Your journey begins in Cairns, a lively tropical city and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Here, you’ll be transferred to your luxury Emerald yacht to embark on your extraordinary voyage.

Please book your flight to arrive into Cairns prior to 02:00 PM.

Day 2 - At Sea

Enjoy a relaxing day at sea as you take advantage of your yacht’s luxurious amenities. Unwind on the Sky Deck, indulge in world-class dining at signature restaurant La Cucina and Dining or simply admire the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean from the Observation Lounge. 

Day 3 - Doini Island, Papua New Guinea

A secluded tropical paradise, Doini Island offers pristine beaches, cultural encounters, and exceptional snorkelling opportunities. Relax on soft sands or explore the vibrant underwater world just offshore. 

Day 4 - Alotau, Papua New Guinea

Located in Milne Bay Province, Alotau is rich in both natural beauty and World War II history. Explore Alotau Town, stunning coastal landscapes, and learn about the region’s cultural traditions and wartime significance. 

Day 5 - Tufi, Papua New Guinea

Set against dramatic fjords carved into ancient volcanic rock, Tufi is one of Papua New Guinea’s most breathtaking destinations. Accessible only by sea or air, snorkel off vibrant offshore reefs where clear, calm waters reveal colourful corals and abundant marine life just below the surface. 

Day 6 - Tami Islands, Papua New Guinea

Renowned for its abundant marine life, the Tami Islands are widely considered a top spot for underwater activities. Snorkel along the surrounding coral reefs and lagoons teeming with tropical fish or relax on deck and soak in the magnificent ocean views.

Day 7 - Garove Island, Papua New Guinea

Part of the Witu Islands, Garove is a striking volcanic island featuring a flooded caldera at its centre. Explore its unique landscape, meet local communities, and discover a way of life deeply connected to the sea. 

Day 8 - Kimbe Island, Papua New Guinea

Day 10 - Madang, Papua New Guinea

Often described as one of the most beautiful towns in the South Pacific, Madang is framed by lush hills, offshore islands, and coral reefs. Wander the stunning waterfront, discover local markets, small villages and a rich cultural heritage shaped by centuries of seafaring traditions. 

Day 11 - Crown Island, Papua New Guinea

A hidden gem off Papua New Guinea’s northern coast, Crown Island welcomes with untouched beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life – ideal for snorkelling and swimming in pristine surroundings. 

Day 12 - Lae, Papua New Guinea

Welcome to Lae, Papua New Guinea’s vibrant coastal hub nestled along the Huon Gulf, where a busy port atmosphere meets lush mountain backdrops and rich Melanesian heritage. As the country’s key industrial and transport centre, Lae offers a dynamic introduction to a land defined by extraordinary cultural diversity and breathtaking natural landscapes. In the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed on board your luxury Emerald yacht, ready to embark on your next voyage. 

Day 13 - At Sea

A full day at sea invites you to settle into the rhythm of relaxed luxury. As the coastline recedes, enjoy uninterrupted ocean views, on board relaxation, and the sense of isolation that defines this remote corner of the world.

Day 14 - Sepik River, Papua New Guinea

The Sepik River is one of the great river systems of the world, stretching deep into Papua New Guinea’s rainforest interior. Life here is shaped by the river itself – villages are built along its banks, and traditions remain closely tied to water, land and ancestral culture. Explore a landscape of carved storyboards, stilted homes and dense jungle where ancient customs continue to thrive.

Day 15 - Wewak, Papua New Guinea

Wewak is a relaxed coastal town in northern PNG framed by palm-lined beaches and green hills overlooking the Bismarck Sea. It is known for its blend of local markets, wartime history and everyday coastal life. This is a place to experience Papua New Guinea at a human scale – unhurried, welcoming, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Day 16 - Jayapura, Indonesia

Jayapura is the capital of Indonesia’s Papua Province, set around a sheltered harbour and framed by lush, hilly terrain. The city offers a fascinating blend of indigenous Papuan culture and modern Indonesian life, with traditional villages, vibrant markets, and striking handicrafts such as bark cloth and intricate wood carvings. You can explore Lake Sentani, enjoy panoramic views of the bay, and experience the warm hospitality of local communities.

Day 17 - At Sea

Spend the day at sea as your cruise transitions fully into Indonesian waters. This is a chance to unwind, enjoy the ship’s amenities, and take in the vast, open seascapes of the Coral Triangle. 

Day 18 - Cenderawasih Bay, Indonesia

Cenderawasih Bay is one of Indonesia’s most extraordinary marine environments and a designated national park of global importance. Its calm, protected waters are home to thriving coral reefs and an abundance of marine life. With favourable conditions, guests may witness seasonal whale shark encounters – an unforgettable highlight of the region. Note that sightings are not guaranteed as they occur naturally in the wild.

Day 19 - Cenderawasih Bay, Indonesia

Enjoy a second day discovering Cenderawasih Bay.

Day 20 - Manokwari, Indonesia

Manokwari sits between forested mountains and a quiet coastline on the edge of West Papua. As a regional capital, it offers a glimpse into daily life in Indonesia’s far east, where administrative centres meet lush natural surroundings. The area is also a gateway to nearby forests and coastal landscapes rich in biodiversity. 

Day 21 - Amsterdam Island, Indonesia

Amsterdam Island lies in one of Indonesia’s most remote eastern regions and is characterised by untouched tropical scenery, quiet beaches, and surrounding coral ecosystems. With minimal development and limited visitation, it offers a rare sense of discovery and isolation in the heart of the Coral Triangle. 

Day 22 - Ayu Atoll, Indonesia

Ayu Atoll is a secluded coral atoll in northern Raja Ampat, where white sand beaches meet crystal-clear lagoons and thriving reefs. With very few inhabitants, it remains one of the most untouched marine environments in Indonesia, offering exceptional snorkelling and a profound sense of natural tranquillity. 

Day 23 - Sorong, Southwest Papua, Indonesia - Bali, Indonesia

Welcome to the bustling West Papua port town and gateway to Raja Ampat, Sorong, which marks the conclusion of your journey through one of the most biologically diverse regions on Earth. From here, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your included flight from Sorong to Bali, then transferred to a hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 24 - Bali, Indonesia

Immerse yourself in the island’s enchanting blend of ancient traditions and vibrant culture, from its lush rice terraces and sacred temples to its world-renowned spas and gourmet dining scenes. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home or onward travels, taking with you cherished memories of your extraordinary journey.
