Collapse allDay 1 - Arrive Toronto
You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in the heart of the action in downtown Toronto.
Day 2 - Toronto, Niagara Falls
After a Welcome Breakfast, take a city tour. Then head to Niagara Falls for a cruise (raincoats provided). You might like to take an exciting helicopter flight over Niagara Falls (own expense).
Day 3 - 1000 Islands, Ottawa
Continue on your journey to Ottawa today. Along the way, cruise around the 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. This evening, we reconvene for dinner.
Day 4 - Ottawa
Today, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Ottawa, which includes Parliament Hill and the historic Rideau Canal. Then the rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure.
Day 5 - Ottawa, Quebec City
Stop at Parc Omega where you’ll look for Canadian wildlife amid their natural environments. On arrival in Quebec City, enjoy dinner at leisure.
Day 6 - Quebec City
Spend today as you wish. Enjoy the facilities of your hotel or perhaps head out and explore. You might like to join a relaxing river cruise along the St Lawrence River or explore Quebec City on an informative guided walking tour (own expense).
Day 7 - Quebec City, Montreal
Farewell Quebec City after breakfast this morning and travel to Montreal. On arrival, check into your hotel, before getting to know this European-influenced city on a sightseeing tour.
Day 8 - Montreal
Today is yours to explore Montreal as you like. You’ll discover a quintessentially French city, which excels at blending old and new, from the streets of Old Montreal to the city’s contemporary waterfront. Alternatively, enjoy time to relax at your hotel.
Day 9 - Montreal, Vancouver
After breakfast today, fly to Vancouver (flight not included). On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 10 - Vancouver, Embark Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to your cruise ship. Settle into your cabin and enjoy dinner this evening.
Day 11 - Inside Passage
Spend the day on the open water at the start of your journey through the Inside Passage.
Day 12 - Ketchikan
Arrive in the Alaskan town of Ketchikan, regarded as the salmon capital of the world. Enjoy time to explore, perhaps join a walking tour of the town or learn about the history of Tlingit culture at Saxman Native Village (own expense).
Day 13 - Juneau
In Alaska’s capital, Juneau, explore the region’s glacial terrain and gold rush history or head into town and visit the rustic shops located here. Perhaps try a select experience. These include a dog sled ride, sampling salmon baked over a fire or trying your hand at panning for gold (own expense).
Day 14 - Skagway
This morning, dock at the port of Skagway, at the northernmost point of the Inside Passage. Perhaps learn more about gold prospecting or view some of the fascinating local wildlife (own expense).
Day 15 - Glacier Bay
Wake to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park. You’ll soon discover why this region has earnt World Heritage status. Local rangers join you on board to explain the geological wonders and wildlife of this region.
Day 16 - Day at Sea
Today marks the final day on board your premium Holland America Line cruise ship. You’ll spend time cruising north through the Gulf of Alaska, stopping at College Fjord.
Day 17 - Disembark Cruise, Whittier, Anchorage
Disembark in Whittier and travel to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre. View native wildlife and enjoy a chance to get up close to a moose, and to feed and learn about Canada’s national animal on a moose encounter program. Later, head to Anchorage.
Day 18 - Anchorage, Denali
Travel to Denali township aboard a special rail journey. This evening, enjoy a hearty meal at Karstens Public House in Denali Square.
Day 19 - Denali National Park
Journey into Denali National Park and discover the fascinating wildlife.
Day 20 - Denali, Fairbanks
Travel to Fairbanks and cruise the Chena River on a sternwheeler. Visit a replica Native Alaska Athabascan village, returning to Fairbanks for a Farewell Dinner.
Day 21 - Depart Fairbanks
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
