Day 1 - Arrive Toronto

Welcome to Canada. Once you’ve arrived, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you can settle in.

Day 2 - Toronto

Mingle with your fellow travellers over a welcome breakfast before setting out on a discovery of Canada's biggest metropolis. Ascend the icon of the Toronto skyline, the CN Tower, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city from the observation deck. Enjoy time at leisure this afternoon before savouring a delectable dinner this evening.

Day 3 - Toronto, Niagara Falls

Today, explore the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake before heading to the iconic Niagara Falls. For an unforgettable perspective, perhaps take an optional helicopter flight for breathtaking aerial views of this mighty natural wonder (additional expense). Then, experience the exhilarating power of the Falls on a thrilling boat cruise, bringing you up close to the surging waters and swirling mist. This evening, dine at your leisure.

Day 4 - Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Ottawa

Today, travel along the scenic Thousand Islands Parkway and stop to cruise through the beautiful Thousand Islands. Straddling the border between Canada and the United States, this breathtaking archipelago is home to over 1800 rugged islands. Glide past opulent waterfront estates, historic castles and forested islands as you cruise along the glistening waters of the St. Lawrence River. After breakfast this morning, a relaxing day of cruising awaits as you glide past the rocky coastline of the beautiful Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Day 13 - Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island may be Canada’s smallest province, but it’s big on history. With time at leisure, perhaps visit the island’s capital of Charlottetown to delve into the region’s past. Alternatively, you may prefer to see the Anne of Green Gables homestead and enjoy time at this well-known literary landmark, set in pretty surrounds (additional expense).

Day 14 - Sydney

Spend the day exploring Sydney and its stunning surrounds on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. The island's French-influenced name contrasts its strong Celtic heritage. You will discover cheerfully colourful highland villages, the beautiful coastal scenery of the Cabot Trail, as well as the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, which was once one of North America’s busiest 18th-century seaports.

Day 15 - Halifax

For ocean scenery at its best, it is hard to beat Nova Scotia’s south shore. Arrive in Halifax this morning, with free time to perhaps visit Peggy’s Cove and the German village of Lunenburg. Then, head back to Halifax, where you might like to visit the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site or a museum which commemorates the Titanic.

Day 16 - Portland

Today you’ll experience the wonders of Portland, an historic seaside hub first settled in 1633 which blends its storied history and heritage buildings with modern shops and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. There are many sightseeing options in this diverse destination, from art museum and historic home visits to setting out into the harbour on a ferry or whale-watching boat (additional expense).

Day 17 - Disembark Ship, Depart Boston

After breakfast, disembark your ship in Boston, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
