Day 1 - Arrive Toronto

Once you’ve arrived, we’ll take you to your hotel where you can settle in.

Day 2 - Toronto

Mingle over a welcome breakfast before setting off on a discovery of the city, including a visit to the CN Tower. 

Day 3 - Toronto, Niagara Falls

Explore Niagara-on-the-Lake and then head to Niagara Falls. Perhaps set off on a helicopter flight (own expense) before cruising to the base of the Falls.

Day 4 - Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Ottawa

Today, travel along the Thousand Islands Parkway, stopping to cruise through the beautiful Thousand Islands. By the late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Ottawa, where a Signature Experience awaits this evening.

Day 5 - Ottawa

Start your day with a guided tour, pausing at Parliament Hill among other sites. Afterwards, enjoy your preferred Freedom of Choice activity.

Freedom of Choice – Canadian Museum of History Tour

For an insight into the cultural, historic and artistic achievements of Canada’s First Nations people, join this discovery of the First Peoples Hall, and tour the Canadian History Hall.

The many fascinating exhibitions here reveal Canada’s involvement in war over the ages. Gain a deeper insight into the nation’s military history as you explore the collection of artefacts, artworks, photos and interactive presentations on display.

Embark on a scenic cruise along the Rideau Canal, which was established in 1812. Discover the region’s historic landmarks aboard a brand-new electric vessel, the largest electric passenger vessel in North America.

Signature Experience – Dinner at the ByWard Market

Savour a special dining experience this evening at the ByWard Market, joining an expert guide on a tour through the bustling hub of stalls, shops and restaurants as you learn about the precinct’s history and key sites. Delight in three delicious paired courses from three of the market’s leading businesses.

Day 6 - Ottawa, Québec City

Today, relish the opportunity to spot deer, wolves and black bears at Parc Oméga, a vast safari park home to a broad variety of unique Canadian wildlife. After lunch, continue to the enthralling French-Canadian hub of Québec City.

Signature Experience – Visit a Sugar Shack

Visit a local sugar shack, where you’ll learn how maple syrup is made and feast on traditional Québécois fare for lunch. These small wooden houses are built in maple forests, where sap is collected and boiled down to produce the sweet syrup that we all know and love. 

Day 7 - Québec City

Take a guided tour of Québec City this morning. Afterwards, enjoy your chosen sightseeing activity.

Québec City’s pedestrian thoroughfares are perfect for exploring on foot. Get a feel for North America’s only walled-in city during a guided walking discovery.

Signature Experience – AURA Experience at the Notre-Dame Basilica

Marvel at the beauty of the AURA Experience, a remarkable multi-media show at Montréal’s magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica. Immerse yourself in the stunning spectacle as unique projections illuminate the picturesque interior of the gothic cathedral, all accompanied by orchestral music. 

Day 10 - Montreal, Vancouver

Fly to Vancouver today (flight not included). Once you’ve landed in Vancouver, we’ll meet you at the airport and bring you to your hotel before tonight’s welcome dinner.

Day 11 - Vancouver

After an incredible Signature Experience this morning, discover Vancouver’s highlights on a fantastic half-day sightseeing tour. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll soak up the scenery at the vast Stanley Park, explore the trendy Granville Island, and immerse yourself in the historic neighbourhood of Gastown.

Signature Experience - Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Enjoy a sensational visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park on the beautiful outskirts of Vancouver. After breakfast at the Cliff House Restaurant, you’ll join an insightful nature exploration through the grounds and across the suspension bridge. 

Day 12 - Vancouver, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and soak up the views from the bi-level glass-dome carriage in GoldLeaf Service. Gaze up at the Coast Mountains and pass Hell’s Gate. Follow the Thompson River on the way to Kamloops.

Day 13 - Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Banff

Today, your rail journey heads towards the Rockies. See the engineering marvel of the Spiral Tunnels and traverse Kicking Horse Pass. Once in Banff National Park, head for the ‘Castle in the Rockies’, Fairmont Banff Springs.

Day 14 - Banff

Spend the day on your preferred Freedom of Choice activity, then choose your dining experience this evening.

It’s Banff’s people, alpine architecture and wildlife that make it so unique, and this is your chance to hear about it all. You will also visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site.

Freedom of Choice – Gondola Ride

Head to the top of Sulphur Mountain and take in Banff from above, climbing nearly 700 metres in elevation as you are carried through the pines. Once you reach the peak, you can head off for a stroll along the boardwalk.

Take to the skies for a bird’s-eye view of the Rocky Mountains. Soar past snowy peaks and jagged mountains, enjoying breathtaking views of pristine lakes and alpine meadows.

Freedom of Choice – Bow River Float Trip

Ah yes, the relaxation of the river! Spend some time floating down the Bow River, keeping your eyes peeled for any signs of cheeky wildlife on the banks. This activity is suitable for most fitness levels.

When in Canada, it’s only fitting that you experience a day in the life of an ice hockey player. Get to know the Canmore Eagles as you tour their dressing rooms, try on their gear and step onto the ice.

Harking back to the hot spring that first called travellers some 100 years ago, soothe your tired muscles in the mineral pool and pulsating waterfalls at Fairmont Banff Springs. 

Day 15 - Banff, Moraine Lake, Lake Louise

Tour Banff and embark on a Signature Experience, then travel via Moraine Lake to Lake Louise. As you arrive at the hamlet of Lake Louise, you will be in awe of the unique setting. Turquoise water is bordered by a jagged mountainscape, dotted with trees. Breathe in the crisp air as you enjoy your first day in this stunning location. Choose where to dine tonight from the hotel’s exceptional collection of restaurants.

Signature Experience – Meet a Mountie

On an exciting morning in beautiful Banff National Park, you’ll have the chance to meet one of Canada’s renowned Mounties and hear tales from the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police. 

Day 16 - Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper

Join the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic stretches of road. Pause at Peyto Lake and stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you will embark on a memorable journey onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continuing via Athabasca Falls, your day ends in Jasper. Choose where to dine tonight at your lodge.

Day 17 - Jasper, Mount Robson, Sun Peaks

Take in Maligne Canyon before re-entering the province of British Columbia. Your journey follows the famous Yellowhead Highway. Pass Mount Robson, which is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, soaring at 3,954 metres above sea level. Later, arrive in the alpine village of Sun Peaks. 

Day 18 - Sun Peaks, Whistler

Follow the tracks of early gold rush pioneers through the Cariboo region, stopping at Seton and Duffey Lakes. Later, re-enter the Coast Mountains and learn why Whistler attracts so many outdoor enthusiasts. 

Day 19 - Whistler, Georgia Strait, Victoria

Travel south along the Sea to Sky Highway and then take the BC Ferries service to Vancouver Island. Continue to Chemainus, a town famous for its vibrant outdoor murals, before arriving in the charming city of Victoria.

Day 20 - Victoria, The Butchart Gardens

Begin the day with a memorable Signature Experience. Tonight, savour a special farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.

Signature Experience – The Butchart Gardens Before Hours

Visit The Butchart Gardens before the public is granted access and enjoy an exclusive breakfast in the original Butchart residence. More than 100 years in the making with a former quarry as the initial canvas, this space was transformed by Jennie Butchart into a haven overflowing with lush greenery and colourful blooms. Enjoy the opportunity to wander among the floral displays without the crowds. 

Day 21 - Victoria, Vancouver, Embark Ship

Return to Vancouver and board your ship for a cruise through Alaska’s Inside Passage. This afternoon, settle in and explore the ship.

Day 22 - The Inside Passage

Spend today on board, gliding past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea lanes in the world.

Day 23 - Juneau

Alaska’s capital, Juneau, is set at the foot of the mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, and outdoor activities are plentiful. Disembark and explore at leisure or with an optional excursion (own expense).

Day 24 - Skagway

Arrive in Skagway, the Inside Passage’s northernmost point. See heritage buildings, now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, and maybe set off on an excursion (own expense).

Day 25 - Glacier Bay National Park

Wake among the breathtaking scenery of Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn from local rangers who explain the geological wonders.

Day 26 - Ketchikan

Dock in Ketchikan today, set on the tranquil shores of the Tongass Narrows, and spend some time exploring as you please.

Day 27 - The Inside Passage

Enjoy a last day on board, cruising the Inside Passage.

Day 28 - Disembark Ship, Depart Vancouver

Disembark and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
