Home to pristine beaches, rugged landscapes and granite peaks, Freycinet is a place of breathtaking natural beauty. Explore the park and take in the stunning surrounds. Continue south to the seaside town of Orford and enjoy dinner overlooking Spring Bay.

This morning, travel south to Richmond, home to the historic Richmond Bridge. Built by convicts in the 1820s, it is Australia's oldest bridge. On the way to Port Arthur, see how nature and time have created spectacular rock formations such as the Tessellated Pavement and Tasman Arch. At Port Arthur Historic Site, join a cruise around the Isle of the Dead and hear haunting stories about the convicts buried there. Later, travel to Hobart. This small capital city sure packs a punch, with an array of quality dining, cultural and nature-based experiences on offer.

A fantastic array of art, handicrafts, food and oddities awaits you today at the Salamanca Market. Housing over 300 stalls, the market has plenty of goods on offer, from tantalising Tasmanian gin to hand-crafted jewellery.
