Day 1 - Arrive Victoria

Welcome to Canada. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.
Two Night Stay: Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour or similar

Please book your flight to arrive into Victoria prior to 05:00 PM.

Day 2 - Victoria – Butchart Gardens

This morning, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a 22-hectare showplace of magnificent, colourful gardens. Afterwards, enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Day 3 - Victoria – Georgia Strait – Whistler

After breakfast, drive north along Vancouver Island to Nanaimo. Board the BC Ferry and travel through the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Journey inland along the Sea to Sky Highway as the road follows the rugged coastline with views of Horseshoe Bay on your left and forested parks and mountains on your right. You will have the chance to stop at the awesome Shannon Falls before arriving at the charming alpine resort of Whistler Village.

Day 4 - Whistler – Thompson Valley

Travel through scenic landscapes, past the Fraser River and the town of Lillooet, before arriving on the shores of the South Thompson River.

Day 5 - Thompson Valley – Jasper

Journey past ice age glaciers, waterfalls, and mountain peaks and arrive into Jasper.

Day 6 - Jasper – Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ – Emerald Lake

Travel north along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most incredible journeys in the world. Stop at the Columbia Icefield and climb aboard the ‘Ice Explorer’ for a journey onto Athabasca Glacier. Travel to Emerald Lake, so named because of the vibrant colour of its glacier-fed waters.

Day 7 - Emerald Lake – Lake Louise – Banff

After breakfast, travel from Emerald Lake to Lake Louise, the “Diamond in the Wilderness” and enjoy some free time. Continue onwards to Banff, the quintessential Rocky Mountains town. Enjoy a tour of Banff including the Bow River and Bow Falls.

Day 8 - Banff at leisure

Free day to enjoy the delightful township of Banff.

Day 9 - Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops

Set off on a two-day rail experience on ‘The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World.’ Settle back in your SilverLeaf carriage as you journey through soaring, rugged snow-capped mountains (upgrade to GoldLeaf at additional expense).

Day 10 - Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver

Continue your journey and arrive at the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver, famous for its backdrop of snow-capped mountains and glistening ocean waters.
Two Night Stay: Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre

Day 11 - Vancouver Sightseeing

Set off on a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park, famous for its totem poles, the waterfront and Gastown. Visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park suspended 70-metres above the river.

Day 12 - Vancouver – Alaskan Cruise

Today, join your Tour Director and fellow travel companions as you board your Princess Cruise for a seven-night Alaskan journey.  Check into your comfortable Ocean View Stateroom (upgrade to Balcony Stateroom at additional expense) and settle in for an unforgettable voyage through the famed Inside Passage. Your Emerald Tour Director will be on hand throughout your Alaska cruise and land journey ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Day 13 - Cruising the Inside Passage

Spend the day cruising the Inside Passage, one of the world’s most breathtaking waterways.

Day 14 - Ketchikan

Welcome to the salmon capital of the world.

Day 15 - Juneau

Alaska's capital is surrounded by the Gastineau Channel, glaciers and Icefields.

Day 16 - Skagway

Skagway’s colourful past is carefully preserved in the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park.

Day 17 - Glacier Bay

Enter the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park with its spectacular glaciers.

Day 18 - College Fjord

Within Prince William Sound lies College Fjord and its collection of glaciers, some of which dwarf even the largest of cruise ships.

Day 19 - Anchorage - Talkeetna

Disembark in Whittier and travel on the “Direct to the Wilderness” train to Talkeetna.

Today, explore Talkeetna at your leisure.
