Marseille is also the gateway to the region of Provence, famous for its wine and cuisine.

Pampelonne Beach is a pristine stretch of coastline nestled along the French Riviera near Saint-Tropez. With its shimmering azure waters and soft golden sands, this is the epitome of Mediterranean paradise. Scenic Eclipse II will spend the morning anchored offshore, so you can bask in the warm sunshine as you relax on your beach towel or indulge in a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea. Explore the vibrant beach clubs and chic restaurants that line the shore, offering exquisite cuisine and stylish ambiance.

This afternoon, you’ll sail the short distance to Saint-Tropez. Once a sleepy fishing village, it was transformed into a luxury hotspot for international travellers in the 1950s. Today, it still retains all the glitz and glamour, alongside impossibly blue seas, stunning beaches and a bohemian art scene.  

Scenic Eclipse II will be docked here overnight, so you can see Saint-Tropez come alive after dark. Join the beautiful people along the waterfront, listen out for the sounds of live music and keep an eye out for visiting celebrities.

Welcome to the cinematic capital of the world. We’ll arrive right in the middle of the famous Cannes Film Festival, so expect to see movie stars and their mega yachts. Feel the excitement as you explore the picture-perfect streets exuding subtle movie magic.  

Explore haute-couture boutiques, relax on striped sun loungers along the beach, or sip cocktails at chic beachside bars. There’s plenty of history and culture to be found in this coastal enclave, but it’s really a place to relax and soak up the champagne lifestyle that plays out alongside the sparkling Mediterranean every day.

You’ll call at two neighbouring ports today, tucked into a quiet curve of the Ligurian Coast.  Portofino, one of Italy’s most famous resort towns. Postcard-perfect and oozing Mediterranean charm, Portofino is a place to soak up la dolce vita. Brightly coloured buildings sit against crystal-clear water with lush pine-covered hills in the distance. Another late departure means there’s plenty of time to explore the luxury boutiques, swim in the turquoise bay, dine on exquisitely fresh seafood and look out for celebrities at the exclusive bars set around the Piazzetta.

Santa Margherita is one of the more relaxed towns along the Italian Riviera, a place where people still live and work rather than a spot designed for tourists. Pretty pastel buildings line the shore, hundreds of fishing boats sit in the marina, and the imposing 16th century castle looks out over it all. Wander the narrow streets this morning and feel immersed in history.

Monte Carlo is the epitome of luxury and elegance, nestled within the principality of Monaco. As your Scenic Eclipse II journey draws to a close, bid farewell in the picturesque city of Nice, a renowned gem of the Côte d’Azur. After savouring a final delightful breakfast on board, it will be time to disembark and commence your onward journey or return home, carrying cherished memories with you.
