Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Singapore
Fly overnight to the vibrant city of Singapore. On arrival, transfer to your hotel where the rest of the day is yours to relax and refresh or start soaking up the local culture.
Day 2: Explore Singapore
Embark a full day tour of Singapore. Begin in the historic neighbourhoods of Chinatown and Kampong Glam, where you can soak up local culture and learn about the art of 'teh tarik' (tea pulling). Pass Parliament House on the way to Merlion Park, where you'll get excellent views over Marina Bay. Arrive at the Fullerton Hotel via a hidden walkway for a delicious High Tea. Cruise the Singapore River as the sun sets then, post dinner, explore the magnificent Gardens by the Bay and enjoy its iconic light show.
Day 3: Board Norwegian Cruise Line Norwegian Sun
After breakfast you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the port to board the Norwegian Sun. The rest of the day is free to explore the ship's facilities and settle in. Throughout your cruise, when your ship comes into port, there will be a range of excursions available to help you explore each destination. These excursions are at your own expense and are bookable on your cruise reservation.
Day 4: Cruise – At Sea
While away the day getting to know the plentiful amenities of your cruise ship. Why not relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or try a lively dance lesson, as you cruise up the Malacca Strait.
Day 5: Cruise – Explore Phuket
Port at Phuket, Thailand, an island of white sand beaches and azure waters. Spend time relaxing or take the time to explore some of the region's many facets, from tranquil temples to spectacular national parks.
Days 6-8: Cruise – At Sea
Spend these days at sea making the most of the Norwegian Sun's excellent range of facilities and activities. Try the different restaurants, watch live performances featuring a talented cast of performers and musicians or browse the shopping boutiques for souvenirs.
Days 9-10: Cruise – Explore Male
Welcome to the Maldives. Cruise between paradisical atolls and islands to reach Malé, the capital. From here, you can explore this small city to view its architecture, browse the produce of the harbour's daily market or go scuba diving in the wildlife-filled waters.
Days 11-12: Cruise – At Sea
Find your favourite spot to gaze out over the sparkling blue of the Indian Ocean, be it a café, on deck or from your cabin, as your cruise continues westwards.
Day 13: Cruise – Explore Seychelles
Today you can visit the paradise island of La Digue by tender. Much of the island is undeveloped, so there are plenty of quiet bays, soft sand beaches and granite rock formations to explore, all backed by sparkling azure waters. For those feeling more active, the jungle swathed interior is perfect for hiking.
Day 14: Cruise – Explore Seychelles
Stop at Port Victoria on Mahé Island, where you can explore Seychelles capital Victoria. Stroll the lovely National Botanical Gardens, bask on a sun-drenched beach or visit a colourful Hindu temple.
Day 15: Cruise – At Sea
Continue your cruise across the Indian Ocean, making the most of all the happenings onboard the Norwegian Sun.
Day 16: Cruise – Explore Madagascar
Arrive at Nosy Be, a paradise island just off the Madagascar's northwestern coast. There are volcanic lakes and coral reefs, soft sand beaches and spectacular nature to explore – you could spend the day with lemurs and chameleons at the Lokobe Reserve or learn about the local production of ylang-ylang at a plantation.
Days 17-18: Cruise – At Sea
Use these final two days at sea onboard the Norwegian Sun to revisit your favourite hang outs, restaurants, and activities, or to tick off the things you haven't yet experienced.
Day 19: Arrive in Mauritius
Disembark the Norwegian Sun at Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. You'll be met by a guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or begin exploring your glorious tropical island surroundings.
Day 20: Explore Mauritius
Today, enjoy a private tour of the southwestern corner of the island. Begin at Trou aux Cerfs, where you'll be able to stroll along the crater of this dormant volcano, enjoying spectacular views over the island and the Indian Ocean. Discover more about Mauritius’ Hindu culture on the shores of Grand Bassin, visiting temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then, drive through the spectacular scenery of Black River Gorges National Park, pausing to admire Alexandra Falls before a final stop at the Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth Geopark.
Day 21: Mauritius at leisure
Spend today relaxing at your hotel or exploring the local area.
Days 22-23: Depart Mauritius
Fly to Australia, arriving home the same or following day.
