Safari Lodge is located adjacent to Monarto Safari Resort within the Wild Africa precinct. The address will be available prior to opening.
The Lodge will only be accessible for guests who will be provided with a pin code to open the electric gate to the property.

Reception Hours
The reception area in the Lodge is staffed from 7 am to 11 pm.
A night manager will be available for after-hours enquiries and late check-in/early check-out.
Accessibility
Safari Lodge offers a number of facilities for guests with accessibility requirements including accessible tents located closer to the central lodge.
Conservation Fund
Conservation is at the heart of Monarto Safari Park and Zoos SA’s mission. We donate a portion of every booking at our Resort to the Zoos SA Conservation Fund.
By staying at our Resort you are directly contributing to programs that ensure the ongoing survival of these amazing animals.

Safari Lodge opens on the 2nd of April 2026.
- How many luxury safari tents are there?
There are 20 safari tents in a variety of bed configurations.
-What facilities does the main lodge have?
The main lodge has an exclusive restaurant, private dining space, swimming and plunge pools, a gym and pickleball court, and an outdoor lounge and firepit.
- Is there a shuttle service to and from Monarto Safari Resort and Monarto Safari Park?
Yes, those without their own vehicle have access to a complimentary shuttle between the properties.
- Is entry to Monarto Safari Park included?
Yes, your stay includes a multi-day pass to Monarto Safari Park.
- Is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 2 nights.
- What animals are visible from the lodge and tents?
There is a waterhole viewable from your tent! Animals in this area include giraffe, zebra, eland, ostrich, nyala, oryx, blackbuck and barbary rams.
- Is there parking access for guests?
Yes, complimentary parking is available for all guests and is located near the main lodge.
Your stay could look like...


Day One
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the friendly Guest Experience team who will welcome you to Safari Lodge.
Following check-in, you will be escorted to your tent by one of the hosts who will give you an overview of what’s included in your stay. Should you feel peckish, you will find a fully-stocked minibar or you can join in for canapes and drinks, back at the lodge.
Indulge in a 3-course dinner in the lodge restaurant before retiring to your luxury tent, and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nature.
Day Two
Wake up in the wild – you may even see a zebra or giraffe from your deck – before joining the other guests at the lodge for a delicious breakfast.
Now the day is yours! As part of your stay, a multi-day pass to Monarto Safari Park is included. You could spend the day there, or perhaps you’d like to treat yourself to a treatment at Marula Day Spa at the Hotel. At midday, ou can enjoy an alfresco lunch of delicious local produce.
Before the sun goes down, hop aboard the open-sided Safari Landcruiser for our Wild Africa Sunset Safari where you will spend 2.5-hours traversing the precinct with a knowledgeable Monarto Safari Park guide.
The daily canapes and drinks await you prior to another delicious 3-course dinner in the lodge restaurant.
Day Three
Good things fly by so quickly! Have a leisurely last lie-in and watch the animals graze at the neighbouring waterhole, and then enjoy breakfast at the lodge.
Check-out is at 11am.
