Free time this afternoon to explore at your own pace, perhaps discovering the lively North End, strolling along the harbor, or savoring the city’s celebrated history and dining scene. This morning, depart Boston for Newport, traveling through coastal New England as the scenery opens toward the sea. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Newport’s historic districts and waterfront. Continue to [LF] Elms Mansion for a guided tour and lunch, as the Gilded Age mansion stands as a striking reminder of the city’s grand summer estate era. Enjoy free time this evening in Newport to explore—wander the waterfront, take in the harbor views, or consider a scenic harbor cruise for a relaxed view of the shoreline and estates from a different perspective.
