Day 1 - Bergen

Welcome to Norway’s second largest city, the Hanseatic fishing port of Bergen. Dating back to the 12th century, Bergen is surrounded by seven hills with colourful houses lining the harbour and is considered one of the prettiest cities in the country.

Day 2 - Bergen

During the Middle Ages, Bergen was Norway’s major seaport as well as its capital, a proud legacy that can still be seen today. Today you will have the opportunity to explore the city and drive to Troldhaugen, the former home of Edvard Grieg, Norway’s most celebrated composer and pianist.

Scenic Freechoice:
Mount Fløyen: Journey 320 metres up the funicular railway to Mount Fløyen for a spectacular view of the city and fjord.

Fantoft Stave Church: Take the tram to explore the Fantoft Stave Church, an exquisite reconstruction of a 12th century church in a style that is unique to Norway.

Day 3 - Bergen > Lofthus

Set off east today, driving towards the wildly beautiful Hardanger Fjord. Cross the Hardanger Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, before reaching the tiny fjord-side village of Lofthus, overlooking the majestic Folgefonna glacier. It’s known as the orchard of Hardanger and in spring the hillsides are covered in white blossoms, while in summer the trees are laden with fruit including the juiciest apples. Enjoy an overnight Scenic Special Stay complete with dramatic fjord views.

Day 4 - Lofthus > Oslo

Drive through the majestic Hardangervidda, Europe’s highest mountain plateau, home to Norway’s largest herd of wild reindeer. Your destination is Oslo, the capital of Norway set on the country’s southern coast. A metropolitan hub surrounded by forests and fjords, Oslo is a modern and diverse city known for its excellent museums and dreamy green spaces. Check into your hotel for a two-night Scenic Special Stay.

Day 5 - Oslo

From the eighth to the 11th centuries, the Vikings started their journey across Europe in search of land and trade. Discover their fascinating history and Norway’s nautical traditions during your visit to the Bygdoy Peninsula. Learn about modern seafaring at the Kon-Tiki Museum, dedicated to the epic sea voyages of Thor Heyerdahl, and delve into polar exploration at the Fram Museum, where you can step on board the legendary Fram Polar Ship. Sailing between 1893 and 1912, it is the strongest wooden ship ever built and still holds the records for sailing farthest north and farthest south.

Munch Museum: Join an art specialist to explore one of the most comprehensive one-man museums in the world, home to over half of Edvard Munch’s paintings, including ‘The Scream’. Then, unwind at the museum’s rooftop bar and take in panoramic views of the city skyline, the Oslofjord, and even the Opera House from a unique perspective, all while enjoying a glass of wine.

Day 6 - Oslo > Stockholm

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the trendy Swedish capital, Stockholm. Built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges and looking proudly out onto the Baltic Sea, Stockholm is said to be one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world.

Stockholm is famous for its graceful architecture, greenery, fresh air and proximity to the water. Learn more about this captivating city as you spend the next two nights at your Special Stay hotel.

Day 7 - Stockholm

Your local guide will unveil the city’s most treasured sites today. Discover the City Hall, one of Sweden’s most famous buildings with its iconic spire featuring the golden Three Crowns, as well as Riddarholm Church and the Royal Palace. Then, visit the Vasa Ship Museum on the island of Djurgården, where the 17th century warship Vasa is now housed after it tragically sank on its inaugural voyage in 1628.

This evening, enjoy a dinner featuring Swedish cuisine with European influences in a stunning setting.

Day 8 - Stockholm > Copenhagen

Welcome to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Your exploration begins with a two-night Special Stay. Learn its intriguing history, from humble origins as a fishing village, to its heyday as the glittering capital of the Danish Empire and its current position as one of the world’s premier design capitals. The stories and characters of Copenhagen’s past can be discovered in its sumptuous palaces, copper-roofed town houses and atmospheric cobbled squares. Soak up the atmosphere of this modern and diverse city.

Day 9 - Copenhagen

This morning, tour the wonderful Rosenborg Castle, an elegant Renaissance castle built as a country summerhouse in 1606. Rosenborg Castle features 400 years of magnificence, royal art treasures, the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia. You will also get to see the delightful courtyard of Amalienborg Palace, home to Queen Mary and the Danish Royal Family.

This evening you will savour every morsel at your farewell dinner at one of Copenhagen’s finest restaurants.

Canal cruise: See the city’s many attractions on a cruise along the famed canals, including Christiansborg Palace, the impressive Black Diamond Library and the Little Mermaid statue.

Tivoli Gardens: Be charmed by the Tivoli Gardens, a glorious public garden and amusement park that has been drawing visitors since the 19th century.

Day 10 - Copenhagen, Denmark > Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

After breakfast, board your flight to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, where your ultra-luxury Scenic Discovery Yacht awaits. Day 11 - Sisimiut, Greenland

Greenland's second-largest town, Sisimiut is named after the fox dens that dot its landscape. Its charming streets, lined with colourful houses, lead to vast backcountry areas ripe for exploration. Beyond the town's facade lies a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking trails, kayaking routes, and wildlife encounters. Dive into the town's cultural heritage through museums and cultural centres, discovering rich Inuit traditions and early settlers' legacies.

Scenic Discovery: Weather permitting and subject to local approvals, you may explore by Zodiac, kayak, stand-up paddleboard~, or join the Discovery Team on nature hikes.

Day 12 - Ilulissat, Greenland

Wake up in Ilulissat, the “Iceberg Capital of the World”. Home to the World Heritage-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, this stunning region showcases some of the most dramatic glacial landscapes on Earth. Formerly known as Jakobshavn, this town is famed for the spectacle of icebergs breaking away from the glacier, a sight emphasised by the rumbling sounds of calving ice from the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier. Witnessing this natural phenomenon is a mesmerising experience, offering a glimpse into the dynamic beauty of Greenland.

Day 13 - Disko Bay, Greenland

Today, we’ll cruise through the awe-inspiring Disko Bay, renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Pristine icebergs drift across the bay, while majestic glaciers carve their path through the dramatic landscape.

Take in the breathtaking views from the Observation Terrace or your private verandah, where you can fully appreciate the grandeur of this incredible region.

Day 14 - Evighed Fjord, Greenland

Glide through Evighed Fjord, aptly named “Eternity Fjord” for its endless panoramas of snow-draped peaks and dramatic glaciers, it’s considered one of the most beautiful in Greenland. Stretching for more than 75 kilometres, you’ll be awed by the endless fields of ice stretching across the landscape. Tall, jagged peaks threaded with glaciers rise straight up out of the calm blue waters, and many of the glaciers are very active and you might hear great slabs of ice calving away and collapsing loudly into the water.

In Evighed Fjord, you will feel the beauty and power of nature all around you.

Weather permitting, embark on Zodiac excursions with the expert Discovery Team and take in the breathtaking landscapes.

Day 15 - At Sea

Start your day with freshly squeezed juice, a steaming barista-made coffee, or tea delivered to your door by your butler. Today is the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind as we sail across the Davis Strait toward the Canadian Arctic.

Take part in a wellness class at PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio or indulge in a massage# at the Senses Spa. The Discovery Team’s engaging lectures will share invaluable insights and foster a deeper connection to this extraordinary environment.

Enjoy tonight's entertainment at the state-of-the-art theatre before you retreat to your ultra-luxury suite. Alternatively choose to dine in the comfort of your suite and have your evening nightcap delivered by your own butler, choosing from a premium collection of wines, beers and spirits.

Day 16 - Iqaluit, Baffin Island, Canada

Welcome to Baffin Island, the fifth-largest island in the world and the Jewel of the Canadian High Arctic. This remarkable destination is home to stunning fjords, ice-capped mountains, and a thriving Inuit community. In Iqaluit, the cultural heart of Nunavut, explore traditional arts and crafts markets, visit the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum and meet the Inuit people, an integral part of Iqaluit, a remote community at the head of Frobisher Bay.

Tonight, dine around the world with your Scenic Discovery Yacht’s extraordinary culinary experiences, such as Sushi @ Koko’s or fine French cuisine at Lumière+.

Day 17 - Monumental Island, Canada > Lady Franklin Island, Canada

Today, witness Arctic wildlife at two of Canada’s most remote and pristine islands. We’ll visit Monumental Island, a renowned haven for walruses. Explore the shoreline by Zodiac, keeping an eye out for these fascinating creatures. There’s also a chance to spot polar bears from a respectful distance.

Later, we’ll arrive at Lady Franklin Island, best known for its huge vertical cliffs of Archean rock, a striking gem along the rugged, wildlife-rich southern coast of Baffin Island.

With expert guidance from the Discovery Team, you'll uncover exclusive insights into the captivating wildlife and geological wonders that make this destination truly unforgettable.

Day 18 - Lower Savage Islands, Canada

At the southeast tip of Baffin Island, you’ll find the Lower Savage Islands. A labyrinth of rugged channels and towering cliffs, these islands are a sanctuary for Arctic wildlife. Their rocky terrain is home to polar bears, Arctic foxes, walruses, and seals, as well as thriving seabird colonies. A maze of channels winds through the islands, offering outstanding Zodiac cruising opportunities.

Day 19 - At Sea

After days of exploration, spend time relaxing in your spacious suite. A day at sea on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht provides the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the Senses Spa# and socialise with fellow guests.

The Observation Lounge and Terrace occupy a commanding position at the bow of the yacht on Deck 5, and is the perfect place for a speciality tea or coffee whilst reading a book, playing a board game and watching the world float by. If you’re looking for some quiet reflection or a bit of respite, nestle into one of the cabanas on Deck 10.

With a freshly squeezed juice or a refreshing spritz depending on your mood, enjoy the expansive sea views with your complimentary in-suite binoculars.

Day 20 - Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Canada

Located in the stunning Canadian Arctic Archipelago on southwestern Baffin Island, this remarkable destination has been home to the Inuit for thousands of years. Today, it thrives as a world-renowned centre of creativity, where skilled artisans and craftspeople bring the Arctic’s spirit to life through their exceptional artistry.

Day 21 - Cruising Coats Island, Canada

Spend today tracing the outline of Coats Island, one of the more remote and little-visited landforms in the Canadian Arctic. From your suite or the Observation Deck, watch low cliffs, wide tundra and shifting sea ice come and go, the scenery changing subtly with the light. There may be opportunities to spot walruses hauled out on ice or rocks and birdlife moving along the coast, with the possibility of polar bears in the wider area. It is a day shaped by quiet observation and a strong sense of scale, with the comfort of your Scenic Discovery Yacht providing a gentle counterpoint to the island’s raw, pared-back landscape.

Day 22 - At Sea

Today could be the day you visit the bridge where the Captain’s open bridge policy welcomes guests to discover more about the technical capabilities of your Scenic Discovery Yacht and see it in full operation. Plus, it’s one of the best spots on the ship for taking in stunning views.

On this second day of sailing through Hudson Bay, the world’s second-largest bay, you'll experience a sanctuary for Arctic wildlife. The waters are teeming with seals, and whales can appear at any time, whilst thousands of seabirds fill the skies, making it a true paradise for nature lovers.

This evening, savour the flavours of Asia at Koko's Asian Fusion or enjoy steak and seafood at Elements, then ease into the night with live music and enriching entertainment in the state-of-the-art theatre or Scenic Lounge Bar.

Day 23 - Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

Located on the shores of Hudson Bay, Churchill is the "polar bear capital of the world." With rugged streets and vast, sweeping landscapes, there’s a sense of being at the edge of the world. Surrounded by the untamed beauty of the northern wilderness, the stark solitude and endless expanses make this remarkable destination truly captivating.

This charming town offers a variety of exciting activities, be sure to check the Daily Program for these. In the evening, share stories with new friends over dinner in one of up to 10 all-inclusive culinary experiences on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht.

Day 24 - Churchill > Toronto, Ontario, Canada

After a final gourmet breakfast on board, bid farewell to the Arctic as you board your charter flight to Toronto. This marks the end of your remarkable journey through Greenland and the Canadian Arctic, though the memories of icebergs, unique wildlife and near untouched wilderness will stay with you forever. After your expedition voyage, unwind with an overnight stay in Toronto.

Day 25 - Toronto, Ontario, Canada

After breakfast, join the included transfer to the airport, marking the perfect conclusion to your unforgettable journey.
