Day 1 - Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, one of the world’s most beautifully situated cities, framed by Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Your journey begins with a stay near the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a fitting base for exploring a city shaped by ocean, mountain and layered history.

Day 2 - Cape Town

Cape Town’s dramatic setting is never more apparent than along the Cape Peninsula, where mountain, ocean and rugged coastline come together in spectacular fashion. Today, follow the Atlantic coast to Cape Point within Table Mountain National Park, an area known for panoramic sea views, rich biodiversity and its remarkable position on this wild southern peninsula

Visit Cape Point and the historic Cape of Good Hope, a legendary maritime landmark long associated with the great sea routes around southern Africa. Later, continue to Boulders Beach, part of the Table Mountain National Park marine protected area, where a sheltered boardwalk brings you close to a celebrated colony of African penguins.

Day 3 - Cape Town

Cape Town rewards every change in perspective, from its lively waterfronts and colourful neighbourhoods to the commanding heights of Table Mountain above. Today, take in the city from one of its most iconic vantage points, then choose from a selection of DiscoverMORE experiences that reveal another side of this captivating destination.

Ride the rotating gondola to the summit of Table Mountain, where sweeping views open across the city, coastline and ocean beyond. As you ascend, Cape Town’s striking geography unfolds beneath you, offering a memorable introduction to this World Heritage-listed site.

Day 4 - Cape Town > Stellenbosch

Leaving Cape Town behind, journey into the Cape Winelands, where vineyard-covered valleys, historic estates and mountain backdrops define one of South Africa’s most celebrated food and wine regions. Today is dedicated to the flavours of Stellenbosch, with tastings that highlight both the region’s winemaking heritage and its artisanal produce.

Included Excursion
Visit a renowned tasting room designed around four barrel-shaped pods, where six different wines are presented in a relaxed and sociable setting by dedicated hosts. Your tasting is paired with a selection of six Fairview cow and goat’s milk cheeses, before a later cellar tour and tasting of five Jonkershoek Range wines matched with artisanal chocolates.

Day 5 - Cape Town > Kruger National Park

This morning, fly to Skukuza, gateway to Kruger National Park, and transfer to your lodge on the Sabie River. The Skukuza area lies in southern Kruger, a wildlife-rich region where river systems attract a wide range of animals and create excellent game-viewing opportunities.

Later this afternoon, set out on your first safari in search of Africa’s iconic wildlife, including the Big Five. With expert guides leading the way and the bush coming alive around you, this first game drive is an unforgettable introduction to one of Africa’s great safari landscapes.

Three Night Stay: Kruger Gate Hotel or similar

Day 6 - Kruger National Park

Few places capture the essence of safari quite like Kruger, where changing light and shifting landscapes bring a different rhythm to every game drive. Today offers a deeper immersion in the bush, with more time to appreciate not only the larger wildlife, but also the finer details of this intricate ecosystem.

Enjoy both morning and evening game drives through Kruger National Park, giving you more opportunities to spot Africa’s most iconic animals. You will also join an immersive walking safari with your expert ranger, exploring the bush on foot and gaining insight into the flora, smaller creatures and natural systems that are so often overlooked from the vehicle.

Day 7 - Kruger National Park

Another day in Kruger brings another chance to encounter the wildlife that makes this reserve so revered. Travelling in specially adapted Land Rovers, continue exploring the park with expert rangers who help track animals and interpret the behaviour of the species you encounter.

Set out on further unrestricted game drives in search of the Big Five, lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes, while learning more about their habitats, behaviour and conservation. Every drive is different, and that sense of unpredictability is part of Kruger’s enduring appeal.

Day 8 - Kruger National Park > Johannesburg

Fly to Johannesburg and check into your hotel for your two-night stay. Known as the ‘City of Gold’, Johannesburg is South Africa's largest city and a vibrant hub of art, culture, and history. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at your hotel or enjoying its facilities. As a city that played a pivotal role in South Africa’s past and present, Johannesburg offers insight into both its dynamic arts scene and its complex history.

Day 9 - Johannesburg

Johannesburg, often referred to as Jo'burg, pulses with energy, reflecting the rapid transformation from a gold-mining settlement to a modern metropolis. The city is a gateway to South Africa's northern regions and offers diverse cultural experiences, from trendy galleries and world-class theatres to hip cafes and moving Mandela-related sites. Johannesburg's vibrant spirit is complemented by lush green spaces like the Johannesburg Botanical Garden and Emmarentia Dam, providing a tranquil retreat from the urban hustle.

Day 10 - Johannesburg > Kasane

Fly to Kasane to experience Chobe National Park in Botswana, one of southern Africa’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. Chobe is particularly famous for its large elephant population and the concentration of animals drawn to the river and floodplains throughout the year.

This afternoon, head out on a night drive, when the bush takes on an entirely different character. As daylight fades, look for nocturnal wildlife and enjoy the thrill of exploring the park after dark.

Day 11 - Chobe National Park

Chobe is shaped by the river that sustains it, and along its fertile banks wildlife gathers in extraordinary numbers. Today, experience the park from two different perspectives, on the water and on land, for a fuller appreciation of one of Botswana’s most biologically diverse reserves.

This morning, embark on a safari along the shores of the Chobe River, where elephants, buffalo and a remarkable range of other wildlife are often seen gathering on the floodplains. Later, continue your exploration with another exhilarating night drive through Chobe National Park.

Day 12 - Kasane > Victoria Falls

Cross into Zimbabwe and arrive at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Stretching more than a mile across, the falls are renowned for their immense curtain of water and the thunderous force with which they plunge into the gorge below.

Day 13 - Victoria Falls

The Zambezi River shapes life on both sides of the border, creating experiences here that range from wildlife encounters to unforgettable sunset scenes. Today combines conservation, river cruising and a memorable dinner in the wilderness.

Later, enjoy a special sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, watching wildlife along the banks just upstream from Victoria Falls as the day draws to a close. Day 14 - Victoria Falls

Your journey comes to an end today, but Victoria Falls leaves a lasting impression, from its sheer natural scale to the wildlife-rich landscapes of the surrounding region. Transfer to the airport, taking with you the memories of southern Africa’s remarkable beauty, history and wildlife.
