Day 2 - SPLIT
The Emperor’s Escape
Join your Local Guide for a walking tour through the labyrinth of medieval streets located within part of the Old Town, better known as Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. Continue to the Green Market and sink your teeth into some of the local specialties during a tasting. Free time this afternoon and evening to continue exploring this incredible city. (B)

TOUR HIGHLIGHT
Discover one of the world’s best-preserved monuments to Roman architecture with a walking tour in Split. You’ll see the spectacular Diocletian Palace that was built for the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the 4th century AD, and forms nearly half of the Old Town of Split. Having served as the emperor's villa, summer house, and military camp, this ancient palace evokes the power and strength of the Roman Empire.

Day 3 - SPLIT: EXCURSION TO TROGIR

Day 4 - SPLIT
Natural Treasures
Enjoy a full day to delve deeper into the city. Take a stroll along the charming streets, admire the spectacular views, browse the stores, or try delicious local specialties. Alternatively, join an optional excursion and hop on a ferry to discover the island of Brač. (B)

ENHANCED FREE TIME
Brač is an oasis of peace, as big as Malta and yet with a population of only about 14,000 people. Villages are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, while the rest of the island is covered with beautiful pine forests. Enjoy a spectacular ferry ride, a local olive oil tasting experience, time to browse villages, and hearing stories about the famous Brač stone.

Day 5 - SPLIT: EXCURSION TO KRKA NATIONAL PARK
Wondrous Waterfalls
Step into the Krka National Park, an exceptional expanse of natural beauty and importance. Follow your Local Guide on a walking tour through the park, admire the natural waterfalls and learn about the flora and fauna. Late afternoon and evening are at leisure to explore more of Split. (B)

Discover the magical beauty of Krka National Park whose natural wonders span from the Adriatic to the mountains of the Croatian interior. Here, the Krka River provides spectacular waterfalls and gorges as it gushes through a karstic canyon 200 m deep.

Day 6 - SPLIT
Seaside Discovery
Enjoy a full day to explore more of Split at your own pace. You might choose to unwind at one of the city’s renowned beaches, delve into its history with a visit to a museum, or take a leisurely stroll along the vibrant Riva Promenade, pausing to soak up the views from one of its charming outdoor cafés. For those wishing to venture further, an optional excursion to the picturesque island of Korčula is also available. This evening, join your traveling companions for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

ENHANCE YOUR FREE TIME
Rumor has it that the island of Korcula is the birthplace of Marco Polo and one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. A fishbone street pattern was used in the design of Korcula Old Town for a natural cooling effect that provides shelter in the long, hot summery days.
