Day 1 - Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Sydney, Australia’s iconic harbour city, is defined by its expansive waterways, a dramatic skyline, and world-famous landmarks. As you board Scenic Eclipse II, you are welcomed by the crew with a glass of Champagne, setting a refined tone for the journey ahead.

Settle into your spacious verandah suite, meet your personal butler, and explore the exceptional facilities on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht. The sailaway from Sydney is a highlight in itself, offering memorable views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House as the city gradually fades into the distance, marking the start of your voyage towards Australia’s southern shores.

Day 2 - Eden, New South Wales, Australia

Eden is a charming coastal town on Australia’s Sapphire Coast, home to just 3,000 residents. Nestled between two picturesque bays and set against rolling hills, dramatic cliffs, and expansive sandy beaches, Eden offers stunning coastal scenery at every turn. The town’s rich maritime history is reflected in its whaling heritage. Towering lighthouses, the Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre, and the ever-changing sea make this a captivating stop along the journey.

After exploring ashore, return to your Scenic Discovery Yacht and savour an Italian-inspired meal at Elements, or unwind with a cocktail at the Sky Bar on Deck 10 whilst taking in the coastal views.

Day 3 - Deal Island, Kent Island Group, Tasmania, Australia

The Kent Island Group forms Tasmania’s northernmost national park, protecting a remote cluster of islands and surrounding marine environment. Shaped by an ancient land bridge that once connected Tasmania to mainland Australia, the area is rich in both geological and ecological significance. Deal Island is home to Australia’s tallest lighthouse, rising high above the coastline and offering sweeping views across Bass Strait. With rugged headlands, secluded coves, and abundant birdlife, the islands reveal a quieter, less-visited side of Tasmania’s natural heritage.

Day 4 - Beauty Point (Launceston), Tasmania, Australia

Beauty Point, a charming riverside town on the Tamar River, serves as the gateway to Launceston and the surrounding Tamar Valley. The region is renowned for its rolling vineyards, which provide a panoramic setting to the tranquil river. Rich in history and natural beauty, Beauty Point blends heritage, local culture, and striking landscapes, offering a peaceful yet engaging stop along your journey through northern Tasmania.

Day 5 - Grassy, King Island, Tasmania, Australia

King Island sits in the heart of Bass Strait, between Victoria and Tasmania’s northwest coast. Renowned for its quiet charm, expansive beaches, and dramatic coastal cliffs, the island blends natural beauty with a rich sense of history. Explore historic lighthouses, admire rugged seascapes, and observe the distinctive wildlife, from seabirds to native marsupials. The island is also celebrated for its artisanal cheeses, fresh seafood, and rich local produce, offering a taste of King Island’s unique culinary heritage amid its serene landscapes.

Day 6 - Cruising West Coast, Tasmania, Australia

Sail along Tasmania’s rugged west coast, where untamed wilderness meets the comfort of Scenic Eclipse II. Towering mountain peaks, dense temperate rainforests, and winding rivers meet the vast expanse of the Southern Ocean, creating dramatic coastal vistas. As you cruise past this remote region, soak in the scenery that has inspired explorers for centuries, and marvel at the contrast between wild landscapes and the luxury of life on board.

Day 7 - Port Davey, Tasmania, Australia

Day 8 - Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

Your remarkable Discovery Voyage concludes in Hobart, Tasmania’s charming capital, where heritage streets, a vibrant arts scene and dramatic natural surroundings come together. Enjoy a final leisurely morning on board, perhaps with breakfast served by your butler as views of kunanyi (Mount Wellington) rise beyond the harbour.   After bidding farewell to the crew, step ashore and continue your journey on land. Check in for a two-night Scenic Special Stay at a boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Later, take time to explore the lively Salamanca precinct, where galleries, cafés and waterfront charm set the tone, before a special Taste of Tasmania welcome dinner introduces the region’s celebrated produce and flavours.

Day 9 - Hobart

Scenic Freechoice: Today select from a range of experiences that highlight the best of Hobart.

The Red Decker Bus Tour: Enjoy expert commentary on the sights of Hobart with the opportunity to get on and get off the bus to visit various sights.

Hobart and the Huon Valley: Take a tour of Hobart, including the harbour, Derwent River and the Channel Heritage Centre. Explore the picturesque Huon Valley and enjoy a gourmet tour showcasing local produce. Includes lunch.

Iron Pot Cruise: Discover the renowned waterways of Hobart arriving at Iron Pot, Australia’s oldest lighthouse. Cruise down the Derwent River to historic Battery Point and hear stories of Hobart’s early settlement.

Toast your adventures during tonight’s dinner at the incomparable Drunken Admiral at Hobart's Old Wharf.

Day 10 - Hobart - Freycinet Saffire Lodge

Today you'll depart Hobart for the breathtaking Freycinet National Park. Along the way you'll stop in Richmond and see the Richmond Bridge. Built by convict labourers in 1825, it's the oldest stone arch bridge in Australia.

Check in to your luxurious suite at Saffire with private deck, generous bath, rain shower and premium Tasmanian minibar. In the afternoon, join the Connection to Country walk with Indigenous guide Mick Quilliam, learning about the Oyster Bay people, bush tucker and coastal landscapes. Unwind with an optional Spa Saffire treatment, then enjoy a multi-course fine-dining experience at Palate Restaurant with matched Tasmanian wines.

Day 11 - Freycinet Saffire Lodge

Start with a leisurely breakfast at Palate before donning an apiarist suit for the onsite beekeeping experience, tasting fresh honeycomb and learning how local flora shapes Saffire’s honey. Enjoy a relaxed produce-driven lunch, then don your waders and head into the estuary at Freycinet Marine Farm to sample freshly shucked oysters paired with Tasmanian sparkling. Return to the lodge for a mixology masterclass featuring Tasmanian spirits, then savour sunset drinks and another refined dinner at Palate.

Day 12 - Freycinet Saffire Lodge

After a slow morning and hearty breakfast, meet your guide for the Wineglass Bay Lookout walk, a moderate trail offering sweeping views of turquoise water, white sand and rugged coastline. Spend a free afternoon as you wish: beach walks at Muirs Beach, reading on your deck or soaking in your bath. Later, visit the onsite Tasmanian devil enclosure to see these endangered marsupials up close and hear about vital conservation efforts. Round out the day with sunset canapés, a final dinner at Palate and a nightcap or board game in the lounge.

Day 13 - Freycinet Saffire Lodge - Hobart

Savour one last sunrise and breakfast before your luggage is collected. Board Saffire’s private vessel for the Wildlife & Wilderness Cruise, exploring Freycinet’s sea cliffs, coves and islands while looking for dolphins, seals, sea eagles and seasonal whales. Return to the lodge, bid farewell to the Hazards and Great Oyster Bay, then depart Saffire to travel back to Hobart for your onward journey.
