Day 1 - Arrive New York City

You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in the heart of New York City.

Day 2 - New York City

Meet your fellow guests and Tour Director at a Welcome Breakfast this morning. Afterward, embark on an exciting sightseeing tour of the city, ensuring you experience many of the Big Apple’s iconic highlights, from Central Park to Times Square. No visit to New York City would be complete without a stop at the legendary Empire State Building. Completed in 1931 during the Great Depression, this art deco landmark held the title of New York's tallest building for 40 years.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. You may choose to visit one of the city’s renowned museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), home to its world-famous art collection, or the American Museum of Natural History. Alternatively, take a ferry ride to Liberty Island to see America’s most iconic monument, the Statue of Liberty, or indulge in some retail therapy at Macy’s Herald Square, one of the largest department stores in the world.

Day 3 - New York City, Washington DC

Day 4 - Washington DC

Take in the city’s famous sights on a tour, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and FBI Headquarters. The afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure. Beyond its historical and political landmarks, there’s a wealth of museums, art and culture to discover. Perhaps explore the Smithsonian Institution’s National Zoo and extensive collection of museums, galleries and gardens, many of which line the city’s famous National Mall. They showcase America’s journey through subjects as diverse as space, natural history and art.

Day 5 - Washington DC, Lancaster

Today, your journey takes you to Lancaster County, home to the largest and oldest Amish community in the United States. During your visit, you'll gain insight into their everyday lives. The Amish are renowned for their traditional, simple lifestyle, with horse-drawn buggies still serving as a key mode of transportation.

Day 6 - Lancaster, Niagara Falls

Your journey continues today as you head for Niagara Falls on the border between the USA and Canada. See the spectacular sight of Niagara Falls, which is collectively made up of three impressive waterfalls. This evening, an extraordinary Insider Experience awaits.

Overlook Niagara Falls at dinner before an exclusive visit to the Illumination Tower, where you can project your very own light display onto the Falls. 

Day 7 - Niagara Falls, Toronto

This morning, board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls, the largest of the three falls (raincoats provided). You might also like to take an exciting helicopter flight for aerial views over Niagara Falls (own expense). Afterwards, travel to Toronto and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Today, enjoy an unforgettable cruise around the Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Glide past tiny islands, fairy-tale castles, and waterside mansions. As you cruise, you'll be transported back to a time when pirates and bootleggers once roamed the area, as well as the Gilded Age, when the rich and famous made this region their personal playground. This evening, enjoy time to relax and perhaps dine at a local restaurant.

After breakfast this morning, a relaxing day of cruising awaits as you glide past the rocky coastline of the beautiful Gulf of St Lawrence.

Day 18 - Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island may be Canada’s smallest province, but it’s rich in history. With free time to explore, you might choose to visit the island’s capital, Charlottetown, to delve into the region’s past. Alternatively, you may prefer to visit the Anne of Green Gables homestead, set in picturesque surroundings, and enjoy time at this iconic literary landmark (own expense).

Day 19 - Sydney

Spend the day exploring Sydney and its surroundings on Cape Breton Island, in the province of Nova Scotia. Discover the vibrant, colourful highland villages, the stunning coastal scenery of the Cabot Trail, and the historic Fortress of Louisbourg, once one of North America’s busiest 18th-century seaports.

Day 20 - Halifax

For ocean scenery at its finest, Nova Scotia’s south shore is hard to beat. Arrive in Halifax this morning, with free time to explore—you may choose to visit Peggy’s Cove or the charming German village of Lunenburg. Later, return to Halifax, where you might like to visit the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site or a museum dedicated to the Titanic.

Day 21 - Portland

Discover Portland’s eclectic mix of neighbourhoods. Stroll along the waterfront and explore the Old Port, where restored brick buildings and warehouses, alongside the grand homes of captains, merchants, and shipbuilders, bring the city’s rich history to life. The legacy of these early settlers continues to shape Portland’s vibrant present, blending the past with the city’s modern energy.

Day 22 - Boston, Disembark Cruise

Depart Boston after breakfast, disembark your ship in Boston, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
