Day 1 - Copenhagen, Denmark

Your Arctic expedition begins in Copenhagen, a stylish Scandinavian capital. Stroll along picturesque canals, visit world-renowned museums, or simply soak in the atmosphere of this vibrant city.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred to your luxury hotel, where you can unwind before the incredible journey ahead. Spend the evening indulging in Copenhagen’s renowned culinary scene or take a leisurely walk through the historic streets as you anticipate the extraordinary voyage to come.

Day 2 - Copenhagen, Denmark > Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

After breakfast, board your flight to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, where your ultra-luxury Scenic Discovery Yacht awaits. The Captain and crew of Scenic Eclipse will welcome you on board with a glass of Champagne. Day 3 - Sisimiut, Greenland

Greenland's second-largest town, Sisimiut is named after the fox dens that dot its landscape. Its charming streets, lined with colourful houses, lead to vast backcountry areas ripe for exploration. Beyond the town's facade lies a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking trails, kayaking routes, and wildlife encounters. Dive into the town's cultural heritage through museums and cultural centres, discovering rich Inuit traditions and early settlers' legacies.

Scenic Discovery: Weather permitting and subject to local approvals, you may explore by Zodiac, kayak, stand-up paddleboard~, or join the Discovery Team on nature hikes.

Day 4 - Ilulissat, Greenland

Wake up in Ilulissat, the “Iceberg Capital of the World”. Home to the World Heritage-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, this stunning region showcases some of the most dramatic glacial landscapes on Earth. Formerly known as Jakobshavn, this town is famed for the spectacle of icebergs breaking away from the glacier, a sight emphasised by the rumbling sounds of calving ice from the Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier. Witnessing this natural phenomenon is a mesmerising experience, offering a glimpse into the dynamic beauty of Greenland.

Day 5 - Disko Bay, Greenland

Today, we’ll cruise through the awe-inspiring Disko Bay, renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Pristine icebergs drift across the bay, while majestic glaciers carve their path through the dramatic landscape.

Take in the breathtaking views from the Observation Terrace or your private verandah, where you can fully appreciate the grandeur of this incredible region.

Day 6 - Evighed Fjord, Greenland

Glide through Evighed Fjord, aptly named “Eternity Fjord” for its endless panoramas of snow-draped peaks and dramatic glaciers, it’s considered one of the most beautiful in Greenland. Stretching for more than 75 kilometres, you’ll be awed by the endless fields of ice stretching across the landscape. Tall, jagged peaks threaded with glaciers rise straight up out of the calm blue waters, and many of the glaciers are very active and you might hear great slabs of ice calving away and collapsing loudly into the water.

In Evighed Fjord, you will feel the beauty and power of nature all around you.

Day 7 - At Sea

Start your day with freshly squeezed juice, a steaming barista-made coffee, or tea delivered to your door by your butler. Today is the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind as we sail across the Davis Strait toward the Canadian Arctic.

Day 8 - Iqaluit, Baffin Island, Canada

Welcome to Baffin Island, the fifth-largest island in the world and the Jewel of the Canadian High Arctic. This remarkable destination is home to stunning fjords, ice-capped mountains, and a thriving Inuit community. In Iqaluit, the cultural heart of Nunavut, explore traditional arts and crafts markets, visit the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum and meet the Inuit people, an integral part of Iqaluit, a remote community at the head of Frobisher Bay.

Day 9 - Monumental Island, Canada > Lady Franklin Island, Canada

Today, witness Arctic wildlife at two of Canada’s most remote and pristine islands. We’ll visit Monumental Island, a renowned haven for walruses. Explore the shoreline by Zodiac, keeping an eye out for these fascinating creatures. There’s also a chance to spot polar bears from a respectful distance.

Later, we’ll arrive at Lady Franklin Island, best known for its huge vertical cliffs of Archean rock, a striking gem along the rugged, wildlife-rich southern coast of Baffin Island.

With expert guidance from the Discovery Team, you'll uncover exclusive insights into the captivating wildlife and geological wonders that make this destination truly unforgettable.

Day 10 - Lower Savage Islands, Canada

At the southeast tip of Baffin Island, you’ll find the Lower Savage Islands. A labyrinth of rugged channels and towering cliffs, these islands are a sanctuary for Arctic wildlife. Their rocky terrain is home to polar bears, Arctic foxes, walruses, and seals, as well as thriving seabird colonies. A maze of channels winds through the islands, offering outstanding Zodiac cruising opportunities.

Day 11 - At Sea

After days of exploration, spend time relaxing in your spacious suite. A day at sea on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht provides the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the Senses Spa# and socialise with fellow guests.

The Observation Lounge and Terrace occupy a commanding position at the bow of the yacht on Deck 5, and is the perfect place for a speciality tea or coffee whilst reading a book, playing a board game and watching the world float by. Located in the stunning Canadian Arctic Archipelago on southwestern Baffin Island, this remarkable destination has been home to the Inuit for thousands of years. Today, it thrives as a world-renowned centre of creativity, where skilled artisans and craftspeople bring the Arctic’s spirit to life through their exceptional artistry.

Day 13 - Cruising Coats Island, Canada

Spend today tracing the outline of Coats Island, one of the more remote and little-visited landforms in the Canadian Arctic. From your suite or the Observation Deck, watch low cliffs, wide tundra and shifting sea ice come and go, the scenery changing subtly with the light. There may be opportunities to spot walruses hauled out on ice or rocks and birdlife moving along the coast, with the possibility of polar bears in the wider area. It is a day shaped by quiet observation and a strong sense of scale, with the comfort of your Scenic Discovery Yacht providing a gentle counterpoint to the island’s raw, pared-back landscape.

Day 14 - At Sea

Today could be the day you visit the bridge where the Captain’s open bridge policy welcomes guests to discover more about the technical capabilities of your Scenic Discovery Yacht and see it in full operation. Plus, it’s one of the best spots on the ship for taking in stunning views.

On this second day of sailing through Hudson Bay, the world’s second-largest bay, you'll experience a sanctuary for Arctic wildlife. The waters are teeming with seals, and whales can appear at any time, whilst thousands of seabirds fill the skies, making it a true paradise for nature lovers.

Day 15 - Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

Surrounded by the untamed beauty of the northern wilderness, the stark solitude and endless expanses make this remarkable destination truly captivating.

Day 16 - Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

Enjoy another day in Churchill, with time to appreciate the distinctive character of Canada’s North. From wide-open tundra and views over Hudson Bay to glimpses of local wildlife and community life, each moment adds to the sense of being in a rare and memorable place.

This evening, choose between dining at Elements, where the à la carte menu ranges from Italian to prime steak and seafood, savouring Asian-inspired cuisine at Koko’s Asian Fusion, or enjoying dinner delivered in-suite from the comprehensive 24-hour menu. Where Hudson Strait meets the northeastern Hudson Bay, the remote Digges Islands rise with dramatic rocky cliffs, creating the perfect sanctuary for seabirds. This untamed wilderness is also home to thriving walrus colonies and the majestic polar bear. As we navigate the waters by Zodiac, we’ll keep watch for these incredible Arctic icons, always from a safe and respectful distance, but close enough for an unforgettable encounter

Day 20 - Cap Wolstenholme, Nunavik, Québec, Canada > Erik Cove, Nunavik, Québec, Canada

Cap Wolstenholme, a striking stretch of cliffs along Nunavik’s Hudson Strait, features a sheer, towering rampart on its western side. In summer, this dramatic headland transforms into a bustling nesting ground for swarms of thick-billed murres.

Sail on to Erik Cove, surrounded by towering cliffs and floating icebergs, presenting a strikingly pristine landscape. Watch for seals, whales and a wide variety of seabirds in this wildlife haven. There’s also the possibility of spotting polar bears in the distance.

Both destinations are perfect for exploring by Zodiac, offering access to unique ecosystems and opportunities to observe Arctic wildlife in their natural habitats. Subject to weather and local authorities’ approvals, you may have the opportunity to set out with the Discovery Team.

Day 21 - At Sea

After a busy start to your Arctic journey, some relaxation could be on the menu today. Curl up with a book or your binoculars on the cabanas on Deck 10, join a Pilates class or guided stretching session in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio, or enjoy a long lunch with new friends at Azure Bar & Café.

Day 22 - Button Islands, Nunavut, Canada

The Button Islands are known for their rugged, ice-covered terrain and vast wilderness, offering a rare glimpse into the untouched beauty of the Arctic. They are located in the southernmost part of Nunavut, Canada and is named after Sir Thomas Button, an English explorer who is best known for his Arctic expeditions in the early 17th-century. Their isolation makes them a sanctuary for wildlife, from seabirds to polar bears and marine mammals, making it a perfect destination for eco-tourism.

The Captain and Discovery Leader, weather permitting, will navigate you through these incredible landscapes, providing unique opportunities to explore and learn about some of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on Earth.

Day 23 - Saglek Fjord, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Located in northern Labrador, Saglek Fjord is the gateway to the breathtaking Torngat Mountains National Park, an untouched wilderness rich in Inuit history. Weather permitting, the Captain and Discovery Leader will navigate you through this remote landscape, offering unique opportunities to explore towering fjords, jagged peaks, and vast tundra, some of Canada’s most awe-inspiring and remote wilderness.

Day 24 - At Sea

Start your day in ultimate comfort with breakfast delivered to your suite by your butler, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely morning as we sail through the vast and tranquil Arctic waters on our way to Rigolet, Newfoundland and Labrador. Take in the sweeping scenery of the open sea, where the horizon meets the untouched wilderness of this remarkable region.

Throughout the day, the Discovery Team will host engaging lectures on the region’s fascinating history, wildlife, and geography. Learn about the unique Arctic ecosystems, the Inuit culture, and the environmental challenges faced in preserving these remote landscapes.

As dusk falls, the hardest decision you have to make is which direction to wander. Elements is the main dining experience, where the menu ranges from Italian to steak and seafood. Channel the spirit of Asia at Koko’s Asian Fusion, which also comes with a Sushi & Saké Bar and private Night Market+ experience. Journey to France at Lumière+ complete with a champagne bar, or dine in the privacy of your suite, choosing from a comprehensive 24-hour menu.

Day 25 - Rigolet, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Experience the charm of Rigolet, a picturesque town with a deep Inuit heritage on Labrador’s North coast. Engage with local artisans, learn about traditional craftsmanship. For wildlife lovers, this is a dream destination. Keep watch for wildlife, including whales and Arctic foxes, as you explore this fascinating region.

Day 26 - St. Anthony, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Nestled on Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula, St. Anthony is a charming town with a rich maritime heritage. It served as the base for the Grenfell Mission, established in the early 20th century to provide medical services to remote communities. The town's coastal waters are renowned for whale watching opportunities, offering sightings of majestic marine mammals during their migratory seasons. Additionally, the nearby L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, a World Heritage-listed site, marks the only known Norse village in North America, dating back to around 1000 AD.

Day 27 - St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Welcome to St. John's, the vibrant capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, celebrated as North America's oldest city. Its downtown area is characterised by brightly coloured heritage buildings lining Water and Duckworth Streets, housing an array of boutiques, restaurants, and galleries. A visit to Signal Hill National Historic Site offers panoramic views of the city and harbour. This historic landmark is where Guglielmo Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901.

Once back on board, pause for a barista-made coffee or a cocktail at one of the nine bars and lounges, or curl up with a book in the Observation Lounge library as the views unfold outside. Just 25 kilometres off the coast of Canada, the Saint Pierre and Miquelon archipelago offers a unique slice of France in North America. The colourful houses evoke a Scandinavian charm, while the islands rich culture is waiting to be discovered through its quirky museums. This destination is a true haven for nature lovers, where you can endlessly explore the stunning landscapes that lie between land and sea, all whilst keeping an eye out for seals, humpback whales, and migratory birds.

Day 29 - At Sea

After days of exploration, spend time relaxing in your spacious suite. A sea day on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht provides the perfect opportunity to relax, socialise with fellow guests and watch stunning environments pass by.

Visit the bridge, made accessible through the Captain’s open bridge policy. Guests are welcome any time to learn more about the technical abilities of a Scenic Discovery Yacht.

Day 30 - Baie-Comeau, Québec, Canada

Baie-Comeau sits on the St. Lawrence River, where the water meets forested shoreline and open sky. The town offers broad river views and a calm, small-town atmosphere.

Surrounded by woods and rugged scenery, Baie-Comeau serves as a stepping stone into Québec’s Côte-Nord region. Strolling the waterfront or nearby trails, you can appreciate the quiet and the unspoiled character of this stretch of Canadian coast.

Day 31 - Québec City, Québec, Canada

Considered the cradle of French America, Québec City is a World Heritage-listed fortified city founded in 1608. Step through more than 400 years of history in its charming cobblestone Old Town set within gates, towers and ramparts complete with cannons.

Perched atop the headland inside is the century-old Chateau Frontenac, which now houses the luxurious Fairmont Chateau Frontenac hotel and Notre-Dame de Québec Cathedral. The 425-metre wooden boardwalk Dufferin Terrace, which is frequented by street entertainers, has views over St Lawrence River and the Lower Town.

Day 32 - Montréal, Québec, Canad

Your Expediton Voyage ends today in Montréal. Savour one last sumptuous breakfast on board your ultra-luxury 6-star Scenic Discovery Yacht before saying farewell to the crew and new friends who have shared this remarkable journey with you. As you disembark, know you have created unforgettable memories.
