In the afternoon, enjoy a tour to Gao Family Mansion, one of the finest examples of a grand, traditional family home built during the Ming dynasty. Located in the Muslim Quarter of Xi'an, Gao Family Mansion is decorated with antique furniture, traditional lanterns and paintings. Today's excursion is a highlight for many visitors to China — a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a research facility dedicated to the conservation and research of China's unique giant pandas. Home to over 100 giant pandas, the institution is one of the best places in the world to see these adorable creatures up close. The centre is also home to red pandas and other vulnerable and endangered species.

Insider experience – Sichuan Opera Show
Sichuan Opera is one of China's oldest and most popular opera forms. Originating at the end of the Ming and beginning of the Qing dynasties, the performances offer a dynamic mix drama, comedy, puppetry, music and fire breathing. A signature element of the opera is Face Changing, where performers rapidly flick their heads up and down, changing the thin painted masks over their face instantly.
Board a high-speed train to Yichang and enjoy a delicious, packed lunch on board. Arrive in the afternoon and savour an early dinner at a local restaurant.

This morning, board your high-speed train to Suzhou. Arrive in Suzhou and transfer to your hotel for some free time. In the afternoon, drive to your Insider Experience, followed by a guided walking tour of Shantang Street. Known as the "Venice of the East" for its canals and waterways connected by charming stone bridges, Shantang Street is a tranquil area that's ideal for a gentle stroll. Insider Experience - Liuyuan Garden
As one of China’s Four Famous Classical Gardens, Liuyuan (Lingering Garden) is a masterpiece of traditional landscape design, showcasing both Ming and Qing Dynasty artistry. Originally built in 1593 as the private garden of the Ming official Xu Shitai, it spans 23,300 square meters. In 1997, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou.
Today, you'll visit the exquisite Master of Nets Garden. Built in 1140 during the Southern Song Dynasty, it is one of the Seven Classical Gardens of Suzhou included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Master of Nets Garden, like the other classical Gardens of Suzhou were designed by scholars and incorporated elements borrowed from nature like hills, rivers, rockeries and strategically placed pavilions and pagodas.
