Day 1 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Your luxury cruise begins in  Athens, the ancient Greek capital, which captivates with a remarkable blend of rich tradition and modern dynamism.  On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht to start your enthralling voyage through Greece and Turkey.

Please book your flight to arrive into Athens prior to 04:00 PM.

Day 2 - Mykonos, Greece

Welcome to Mykonos. This world-famous Greek island is popular for its lively atmosphere iconic whitewashed buildings topped with blue-domed roofs and bustling waterfront area lined with restaurants, cafés and fashionable boutiques. Discover the historic windmills of Mykonos and Little Venice, revealing stunning seafront homes. From Mykonos itself, you’ll visit the sacred island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site and one of the most important mythological and archaeological sites in Greece.

Day 3 - Skiathos, Greece

Today, discover Skiathos, a sparkling gem amid the Aegean, where pristine beaches lapped by crystal-clear waters and lush landscapes await. Along with the vibrant local charm and bustling streets, this Greek island paradise offers the ideal blend of relaxation and adventure in the heart of the Mediterranean.

Day 4 - Skopelos, Greece

Greece’s lush green paradise, the island of Skopelos, is home to  unspoilt landscapes carpeted with pine forests, crystalline waters and pretty coves, making it a great escape for nature lovers. Skopelos is also the iconic backdrop for Mamma Mia,’ where the magic of this popular film comes alive on the island’s idyllic beaches and quaint towns.

Day 5 - Chios, Greece

The spectacular Aegean Island of Chios is , best known for its distinctive black volcanic beaches. History buffs will appreciate the rare murals and intricate wooden carvings at the Chios Byzantine Museum, set within a historic Ottoman Mosque. As the day winds down, inviting tavernas serving up freshly caught fish provide the perfect spot to relax and savour the moment.

Day 6 - Kusadasi, Turkey > Pythagoreio, Samos Island, Greece

Along Turkey’s western Aegean coast, Kusadasi offers a fascinating blend of history, beautiful beaches, and vibrant markets. This popular beach resort town’s history dates back to ancient times and has witnessed many rulers, including those from the Byzantine, Venetian, and Genoese eras. Kusadasi also lies near several ancient ruins, including the ancient city of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site., which offers a glimpse into the grandeur of one of the ancient world's most important cities.

This afternoon, we depart from  Kusadasi and set a southerly course through the Mycale Strait, a narrow and scenic waterway that gracefully threads between the Turkish coast and Island of Samos. As we cruise along this storied passage, take in the tranquil seascapes and sweeping views of both shores bathed in golden afternoon light. By evening, we arrive in Pythagoreio.

Day 7 - Pythagoreio, Samos Island, Greece > Patmos, Greece

After waking up in the delightful town of Pythagoreio, we continue our journey from a place where ancient history gently weaves through everyday life. Alongside the Heraion of Samos, a sanctuary dedicated to the Goddess Hera, Pythagoreio is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a glimpse into an ancient Greek era of remarkable cultural and architectural achievement.

From the ingenious Tunnel of Eupalinos to the legendary tales of Pythagoras himself, this peaceful harbour retains a legacy that is both inspiring and unforgettable.

In the evening, we set sail towards the sacred island of Patmos, where we'll enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Patmos, Greece

Today you’ll arrive in Patmos, a small Greek island renowned for its beautiful scenery, crystal-clear water, delicious local cuisine and picturesque villages. According to local legend, Patmos is also famous for being where the Apostle John wrote the ‘’Book of Revelation.’ This is why Patmos is often referred to as the ‘Island of the Apocalypse’ and is today, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the island’s capital, Chora, an enchanting place revealing whitewashed buildings and narrow cobblestone streets lined with traditional Greek tavernas and family-run shops.

Day 9 - Paros, Greece

Welcome to Paros, a beautiful Greek island that attracts visitors for its stunning beaches, transparent azure waters and charming local villages. Paros also boasts a rich history, with ancient ruins, Venetian castles and traditional Greek architecture scattered across the island. The main town, Parikia, presents a bustling hub of activity, with slender streets lined with shops, cafés and restaurants that serve delicious local cuisine.

Day 10 - Hydra, Greece

Renowned for its stunning natural beauty and historic charm, this picturesque island is distinctive for its rugged terrain, clear turquoise waters, and lush greenery. The main centre, also named Hydra, presents a bustling port town brimming with narrow cobblestone streets and traditional, whitewashed buildings adorned with bougainvillea-covered balconies. There are no cars or motor vehicles allowed on the island, making it a peaceful and low-key getaway from the usual hustle and bustle of city life.

Day 11 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Your Aegean adventure and luxurious cruise concludes in the dynamic Greek capital, Athens, the birthplace of democracy and Western civilisation. Farewell your crew and fellow travellers, taking with you a lifetime of memories. You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home or continuation of your journey.
