Frequently asked questions
It depends on the travel style, however most Globus tours, such as their Classic style, include hand-picked accommodation, guided sightseeing, skip-the-line access and entrance fees for many major attractions, transportation, and the services of an expert Tour Director and Local Guide.
Breakfast is included daily and most tours include a minimum of 1-2 dinners and at least one lunch.
Unique experiences are a key feature of Globus tours. On an Italy tour, for example, these might include a private boat ride across Lake Como on the Classic tour, Italian Vista, or a private cooking class followed by lunch in Monteriggioni, Tuscany, on the Small Group Discovery tour, Enchanting Italy.
Most itineraries across Europe and North America also feature Globus Choice Excursions. On selected days, travellers can choose between two included experiences based on their interests, such as a Canyonlands cruise on the Colorado River or an off-road adventure through mountain trails in 4WD vehicle on an America National Park tour.
Every Globus tour includes free time for a well-rounded holiday experience.
Globus tours are fully guided, however each itinerary is designed with built-in free time to allow travellers to explore independently. Globus Insider Picks, along with recommendations from Tour Directors and Local Guides, are a great starting point for discovering what to see and do.
Independent Tours are a particular Globus travel style offering semi-guided itineraries across South America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Popular with solo travellers, these tours combine some guided sightseeing, but mostly free time. On itineraries such as the Independent Singapore City Stay, Local Hosts are also available to provide expert recommendations on how to make the most of spare time.
Many Globus travellers appreciate the balance of guided sightseeing and built-in free time, enjoying both the convenience of a planned holiday and the flexibility to get out there and explore destinations on their own.
