Day 1 - Arrive Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, where you'll be met and transferred to your hotel, marking the beginning of your unforgettable journey. Meet your expert East Africa Tour Director and, later this evening, get to know your fellow travellers.

Day 2 - Nairobi, Ngorongoro Crater

Fly via Kilimanjaro to Lake Manyara in Tanzania, where you will travel by 4WD vehicle to your beautiful lodge. Take some time to unwind at your own pace and soak up the tranquil surroundings before a flavourful dinner. 

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the Ngorongoro Crater, giving you time to take in the outstanding landscape. Often referred to as ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’ and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, the crater is surrounded by 600-metre high walls, providing a natural enclosure to vast numbers of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and lions. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture the abundant wildlife.

Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara

Immerse yourself in two incredible Signature Experiences this morning. Afterwards, savour a traditional lunch before embarking on an exhilarating game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner this evening.

Day 5 - Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti National Park

Today, your adventure continues as you take in spectacular, expansive views of the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Keep an eye out for phenomenal wildlife among the endless plains en route to your Signature Experience.

At Olduvai Gorge, famously known as the 'Cradle of Mankind', embark on a captivating private tour where you’ll encounter some of the earliest evidence of our human ancestors, dating back nearly two million years.

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park

Set off on a game drive at sunrise, where you’ll encounter an awe-inspiring array of animals, which may include wildebeest, impalas and African buffalos. Return to your luxurious lodge for some relaxation time, soaking up the stunning views and perhaps taking a refreshing dip in the infinity pool while basking in the African sun. Later, witness the savannah come alive on an incredible sunset game drive and watch in wonder as the wildlife prepares for nightfall. Conclude the day in style with a delectable dinner.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park

On your third day in this remarkable national park, seize the opportunity to spot any wildlife you may have missed during yesterday's game drives. Enjoy the chance to discover a wide range of smaller creatures, from vibrant birdlife through to the fascinating insects that call this diverse ecosystem home.

Day 8 - Serengeti National Park, Masai Mara

Board a light aircraft for your scenic flight to the expansive Masai Mara, a vast and stunning wilderness teeming with wildlife and breathtaking vistas. Upon arrival, embark on an off-road journey through the savannah on your first game drive, where you'll enjoy the chance to encounter rare animals. Afterwards, retire to your luxurious tented retreat, complete with a large, comfortable bed, Persian rugs, cosy armchairs, a private ensuite, and solar-heated water.

Day 9 - Masai Mara

Wake to the enchanting symphony of the African bush as you prepare to head out on a thrilling morning game drive through the private Mara North Conservancy. Afterwards, spend the early afternoon relaxing at the camp, perhaps watching resident hippos in the Mara River from your deck. As mid-afternoon approaches, take advantage of the perfect time for wildlife watching, giving you the chance to continue ticking species off your spotting list as the sun sets and the temperature begins to cool.

Day 10 - Masai Mara

Explore the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve with a full-day game drive and picnic lunch, offering an ideal opportunity for further wildlife viewing on the sprawling savannah. Keep an eye out for the Little Five, which includes the buffalo weaver, elephant shrew, leopard tortoise, ant lion and rhino beetle.

Travel a short distance from your camp to a lantern-lit bush kitchen, where talented chefs will expertly prepare a delectable dinner featuring local specialties. Day 11 - Masai Mara, Nairobi

This morning, bid farewell to the incredible Masai Mara region as you board a flight to Nairobi and savour a final lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden, relishing the last moments on tour with your new-found friends. At the day’s end, enjoy a special Signature Experience.
