Day 1 - Adelaide, Clare Valley, Port Augusta

Your incredible journey of South Australia begins today, depart Adelaide and head to the verdant Clare Valley wine region. Home to an emerging gourmet food scene, this charmingly secluded region is known for its rolling countryside and welcoming country pubs. At Watervale Hotel, enjoy a delicious two-course lunch made from hyper-local and fresh produce with a glass of wine before continuing to Port Augusta. Check in to your hotel where you’ll enjoy dinner.

Day 2 - Kimba, Ceduna

Depart Port Augusta and travel to Kimba, known as the ‘halfway point across Australia’. Continue to Pildappa Rock for lunch, then journey to the coastal town of Ceduna.

Day 3 - Ceduna, Streaky Bay

Take a tour of the Ceduna Arts and Culture Centre, which provides skills, workshops, training, materials, a working environment and facilities for the creation of Aboriginal art. Depart Ceduna and head to Point Labatt, where you may be able to spot some sea lions at one of the only permanent breeding colonies on Australia’s mainland. Take a short drive around Point Westall before settling into the historic Streaky Bay Motel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Ellison, Port Lincoln

Today, travel from Streaky Bay to Port Lincoln, stopping en route for morning tea at Murphy’s Haystacks. These unique pink granite boulders offer a striking photo opportunity, so make sure you have your camera at the ready. After your Insider Experience, continue to Port Lincoln where you’ll check in to your hotel and enjoy a sensational seafood dinner.

Insider Experience - Bush Tucker

Join an immersive and interactive guided bush tucker experience at Wild Yarnbala. Enjoy the rare chance to venture into the grassy she-oak woodland and forage for bush tucker before enjoying a live performance of the digeridoo while feasting on woodfired pizza and sipping local pours.

Day 5 - Port Lincoln, Whalers Way, Coffin Bay

After breakfast, drive along Whalers Way, stopping at a lookout over Lincoln National Park. Continue into the park itself where you’ll have the option to walk up Stamford Hill. Later, enjoy an Insider Experience. Return to Port Lincoln this evening where you’ll enjoy dinner.

Insider Experience - Coffin Bay Oysters

Travel to Coffin Bay Oysters where you’ll learn the history of oyster farming, plus how to shuck oysters like a pro. The best part is that you’ll enjoy six freshly shucked oysters during your visit.

Day 6 - Port Lincoln, Whyalla

Today, discover the maritime magic at Whyalla. Join a tour of HMAS Whyalla at the Whyalla Maritime Museum and learn about steelmaking, ship building and the local culture and history. Dinner this evening is at the Eyre Hotel for a pub-style meal before spending the rest of the night at leisure.

Day 7 - Whyalla, Adelaide

En route to Adelaide, make a stop at the Wadlata Outback Centre. Wander the centre’s Tunnel of Time exhibition, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how Flinders Ranges and the Outback evolved into the dramatic landscape it is today.
