Day 1 - Arrive Victoria

On arrival in Victoria, be transferred to your hotel, where you’ll meet your fellow travellers at a welcome dinner. 

Day 2 - Victoria, The Butchart Gardens

Spend time at leisure to discover fascinating Victoria following this morning’s unforgettable Signature Experience.

Signature Experience – The Butchart Gardens Before Hours

Visit The Butchart Gardens before the public is granted access and enjoy breakfast in the original Butchart residence. More than 100 years in the making with a former quarry as the initial canvas, this space was transformed by Jennie Butchart into a haven overflowing with lush greenery and colourful blooms. Relish the opportunity to wander among the floral displays without the crowds. 

Day 3 - Victoria, Georgia Strait, Whistler

Take your BC Ferries service across the Georgia Strait and travel along the Sea to Sky Highway to beautiful Whistler, pausing at spectacular Shannon Falls on the way.

Day 4 - Whistler

Delve into Canada’s First Nations culture with a special Signature Experience this morning. This afternoon, explore more of Whistler as you set out on your chosen sightseeing activity.

Signature Experience – Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

Visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre and feast on a breakfast inspired by traditional First Nations food. Explore the museum, discovering your First Nations ‘animal spirit’ with the help of your guide.

Freedom of Choice – Floatplane Sightseeing

Take an unforgettable 20-minute floatplane flight over the stunning mountains of Whistler. Fly high above the towering peaks for a captivating perspective.

Freedom of Choice – Peak 2 Peak Gondola Ride

Be swept to entirely new heights on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. The Cloudraker Skybridge also takes you 130 metres from Whistler Peak to the West Ridge, across the Whistler Bowl.

Explore Whistler’s ancient forest on a Tree Trek through the tall pines, walking along suspension bridges and boardwalks.

Freedom of Choice – Zip Trek

For something a little more adventurous, you might like to enjoy a Zip Trek through the treetops. Slide between the canopies with ease, wind whipping in your hair.

Freedom of Choice – Mountain Jeep Safari

Set off on a Jeep tour and see Whistler from a completely different altitude. Take in spectacular views of Whistler Village, lakes, golf courses and the peaks of the Coast Mountains. 

Day 5 - Whistler, Sun Peaks

Travel through the Coast Mountains and stop at Duffey and Seton lakes en route to Sun Peaks.

Day 6 - Sun Peaks, Lake Louise

Continue your journey today, discovering the beautiful landscapes of Yoho National Park en route to Lake Louise, where two nights await at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Tonight, choose where to enjoy dinner at your hotel. 

Day 7 - Moraine Lake, Lake Louise

This morning, travel to Moraine Lake (season permitting) and spend time marvelling at the glacier-fed waters. Afterwards, return to Lake Louise and relax in your luxurious accommodation set within this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perhaps delve into the Canadian wilderness with a hike, embark on a canoe ride around Lake Louise, or book a treatment at the spa (additional cost). You’ll also enjoy a Signature Experience before spending the evening at leisure.

Day 8 - Lake Louise, Banff

Today, travel through three iconic national parks as you continue your journey to the beautiful alpine hub of Banff. On arrival, enjoy a Signature Experience. Tonight, choose where to dine from one of your hotel’s restaurants.

Signature Experience – Meet a Mountie

In beautiful Banff National Park, you’ll have the chance to meet one of Canada’s renowned Mounties and hear tales from the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police. 

Day 9 - Banff

Today unfolds on your own terms as you embark on your preferred Freedom of Choice activity and further explore this magical national park.

Freedom of Choice – Banff Experience

It’s Banff’s people, alpine architecture and wildlife that make it so unique, and this is your chance to hear about it all. You will also visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site.

Freedom of Choice – Gondola Ride

Head to the top of Sulphur Mountain and take in Banff from above, climbing nearly 700 metres in elevation as you are carried through the pines. Once you reach the peak, you can head off for a stroll along the boardwalk.

Freedom of Choice – Heli-Sightseeing

Take to the skies for a bird’s-eye view of the Rocky Mountains. Soar past snowy peaks and jagged mountains, enjoying breathtaking views of pristine lakes and alpine meadows.

Freedom of Choice – Bow River Float Trip

Ah yes, the relaxation of the river! Spend some time floating down the Bow River, keeping your eyes peeled for any signs of cheeky wildlife on the banks. This activity is suitable for most fitness levels.

Freedom of Choice – Ice Hockey Player for a Day

When in Canada, it’s only fitting that you experience a day in the life of an ice hockey player. Get to know the Canmore Eagles as you tour their dressing rooms, try on their gear and step onto the ice.

Harking back to the hot spring that first called travellers some 100 years ago, soothe your tired muscles in the mineral pool and pulsating waterfalls at Fairmont Banff Springs. 

Day 10 - Athabasca Glacier, Jasper

Travel along the Icefields Parkway and stop at the Columbia Icefield. Here, you’ll board an Ice Explorer vehicle for a thrilling journey onto the Athabasca Glacier. Arrive later in Jasper and choose where to dine at your lodge this evening.  

Day 11 - Jasper

Today, enjoy a Freedom of Choice activity and see Jasper from a new perspective.

Freedom of Choice – Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Sidecar Tour

Get your heart pumping and feel the wind in your hair as you coast through the stunning wilderness of Jasper during an exhilarating chauffeured motorcycle sidecar tour.

Freedom of Choice – Maligne Valley Experience with Trail Hike

Travel to the Maligne Canyon, an area rich in famous Canadian wildlife. On a trail hike, look for osprey, eagles, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, elk, deer and bears.

Across the crystal-clear waters of Maligne Lake, cruise past jagged mountain peaks to Spirit Island, a destination only accessible by boat.

Freedom of Choice – Athabasca River Rafting

This is the perfect introduction to rafting. Small rapids and calm waters ease you into the activity, and your licensed guide is around to point out areas of interest and wildlife along the way.

Day 12 - Jasper, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops

Day 13 - Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver

Your Rocky Mountaineer rail journey continues. Following along the Thompson River, pass the waters of Hell’s Gate, and gaze up at the Coast Mountains on your way to Vancouver.

Day 14 - Vancouver

Today, experience the best of Vancouver on a fantastic half-day sightseeing tour. Day 15 - Vancouver, Embark Ship

Head to the harbour, where your ship awaits, and take a moment to settle in ahead of your unforgettable cruise through the Inside Passage.

Day 16 - The Inside Passage

Enjoy life on board with a full day at sea today. Perhaps take in the sweeping coastal views, use the facilities, simply relax or savour the delicious dining options.

Day 17 - Ketchikan

Dock in Ketchikan today, set on the tranquil shores of the Tongass Narrows, and spend some time exploring as you please.

Day 18 - Juneau

Disembark in Alaska’s picturesque capital, set along the Gastineau Channel, and spend your time exploring at leisure or with an optional excursion (own expense).

Day 19 - Skagway

Arrive in Skagway and discover a delightful frontier-style atmosphere, which is evident in the colourful heritage buildings located throughout the town.

Day 20 - Glacier Bay National Park

You might need to pinch yourself this morning – wake to the World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn from local rangers about the area's geological wonders.

Day 21 - College Fjord

Cruise amid the stunning setting of the five tidewater glaciers of College Fjord, a magnificent stretch home to five tidewater and large valley glaciers.

Day 22 - Whittier, Disembark Ship, Denali National Park

Board the deluxe dome railcars of the McKinley Explorer train and travel to Denali National Park today, enjoying a choice of dining options at your resort for dinner this evening.

Day 23 - Denali National Park

Choose how you’d like to discover Denali National Park today with a range of Freedom of Choice sightseeing activities on offer. Later, learn more about the park during a private presentation at the Denali Education Center.

Freedom of Choice – Covered Wagon Adventure

Travel back in time during this splendid journey across the Alaskan tundra on a horse-drawn covered wagon, reminiscent of those used by pioneers, while you explore the great Alaskan wilderness.

Freedom of Choice – ATV Wilderness Tour

Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness on an automatic side-by-side ATV. You’ll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park, at speeds of up to 50 km/h.

Hit the green on a spirited expedition to Black Diamond Golf Course. Built directly on top of the Alaskan tundra, this is a one-of-a-kind lakeside course.

Day 24 - Denali National Park

A magnificent Signature Experience reveals the magnificent wildlife of Denali National Park today. Afterwards, savour some free time in the afternoon.

Signature Experience – Tundra Wilderness Tour

Journey into the heart of Denali National Park and embark on a phenomenal wilderness tour. Enjoy a spectacular opportunity to spot Alaska’s diverse wildlife in the national park, including moose, grizzlies, caribou, eagles and wolves. 

Day 25 - Denali National Park, Talkeetna, Anchorage

Set out on the road via motorcoach to Anchorage, stopping en route at the charming town of Talkeetna before heading to the Happy Trails Kennel. Here, you’ll be able to meet playful puppies and learn all about sled racing. Find out what it takes to train sled dogs and compete in the iconic Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Later, continue to Anchorage.

Day 26 - Anchorage

Set out on a morning sightseeing tour around Anchorage, then enjoy a Signature Experience. This evening, gather for a farewell dinner with your newfound friends.

Signature Experience – Alaska Native Heritage Center

Discover Alaska’s Indigenous cultures as you delight in an in-depth visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Enjoy a talk from an elder, then take a cooking class and learn how to make traditional akutaq (Alaskan ice cream) before tasting your unique creation. 

Day 27 - Depart Anchorage

Your incredible journey through Alaska concludes today as you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
