Enhance Your Journey Sail down the Thomson River aboard the M.V. Longreach Explorer and watch as the colours of the Outback transform at sunset. Meanwhile, the skipper regales you with tales of the region’s history. Once night falls, dock for a two-course dinner and show at Smithy’s for a camp-oven themed dinner with live entertainment (own expense).

Day 4 - Longreach, Toogunna Plains

Hit the road this morning for Toogunna Plains, stopping en route in the red-dirt outback town of Windorah for lunch. Continue to Toogunna Plains, a fourth-generation family-owned sheep and cattle property doubling up as a farm stay. After you check in to your accommodation, enjoy sunset canapes overlooking the rolling, red Kyra Sandhills before savouring a delicious Paddock-to-Plate dinner in your farm stay’s garden.
