Emerald Cruises offers both coastal and river cruise voyages aboard their luxury ships across the globe.
For sunny getaways, an Emerald ocean cruise takes guests on a relaxing journey on one of their luxury yachts, the Emerald Sakara or Emerald Azzurra, to some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, including the tropical Caribbean, the picturesque Greek Islands and Croatia’s magnificent coastline.
Emerald’s latest luxury sailings, such as to the Seychelles Islands, elevates the yacht cruising experience aboard their ‘superyacht’, Emerald Kaia. Launched in 2026, this newest addition to the fleet features Emerald’s most sophisticated amenities, spacious suites and enhanced dining experiences.
For riverside journeys, Emerald's luxury Star-Ships cruise Europe's beautiful waterways. Popular itineraries such as Splendours of Europe (Amsterdam to Budapest) and Jewels of the Rhine (Amsterdam to Zurich) showcase charming riverside towns along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers. Emerald's newest river ship. Emerald Lumi, launches in 2027 to take guests along stunning landscapes from Paris to Normandy.
In Southeast Asia, Emerald Mekong River cruises combine authentic experiences and the comfort of luxury river cruising through Vietnam and Cambodia.
It depends on the type of cruise.
For river cruising, passenger numbers typically range from just 84 guests on Emerald’s Mekong River voyages, to around 180 guests on European river cruises aboard their luxury Star-Ships.
For coastal cruising, a maximum of just 100 guests are welcomed aboard luxury yachts, Emerald Azzura and Emerald Sakara, while their latest invention, the Emerald Kaia ‘superyacht’, accommodates up to 128 guests.
Smaller passenger numbers creates a more intimate cruising experience, with attentive service and plenty of space to relax on board.
